Every time I go into a restaurant, I put in my headphones. I can't stand to hear the nonsense around me and the terrible music.... At niecies, that's not the case at all. The soul and disco playing were music to my ears. My waitress, Tajuana (sorry for the possible misspelling), was super nice and got my tasty breakfast to me quickly! Food was standard breakfast fare but I'm a vegetarian, so I know I was missing out. Anyway, stop there and support your local business! Thanks again!

Famous chicken and waffles was like a party in my mouth! The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and the waffles were fluffy and golden brown. Plus, the portion sizes were huge - I definitely left feeling satisfied. The service was friendly. If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Niecie's!

Absolutely amazing dinner after a perfect day at the KC Zoo. The staff welcomed my large family of 6 in and treated us like we were family too. We always eat locally on vacation, and I am glad we chose to have such awesome service and delicious food here. I have already recommended Niecie's to friends in the area and will be back myself when we come to KC again.Kid-friendliness: The whole staff was patient and understanding of our 4 children (youngest is 2). Amazing!

Been living in the area for over 3 years and just made it to Niecie's recently. This place is an institution. It might have some of the best biscuits and gravy in town! If you want breakfast in Kansas City, or lunch, or dinner, it's worth a visit.
