Kenny, our server was so awesome. He honestly made the experience along with the other teammates as well who brought out our food! When I walked in, even the host knew who I was with already, which made me feel very warm!!! I'm so glad I had my birthday experience here and I would recommend others going as well. The crab apple sushi roll was so good and I loved the sake cocktail along with the margarita cocktail. The scallops were phenomenal as well overall I enjoyed my whole experience 10 out of 10 and I will be back!!!!

Perfect valentines date night! Noka truly felt like an experience from the beginning to the end. We loved the crispy tofu and the sweet potato jewels. The miso cod was also delicious. Our server was attentive and the chef made time to stop by our table. Loved the vibe and decor in the restaurant. We will definitely be back and make room for desert.

Such an awesome experience every time we come to Noka! We chose to sit at the bar this time and it was the best vibe. Bartender Candace was so accommodating and knowledgeable. The food is always the star here; we had the crab roll, Cobb salad, wings, burger, filet, fries, and Brussels. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Noka is a KC gem!

What a banger of a restaurant. The wings were amazing, the crispy tuna bites and the sushi donuts. The matcha martini and the old fashioned. So good! And the bartender was so entertaining and funny. Can’t wait to come back!

Amazing! We put off visiting this local spot down the street for too long. Finally made it over for my birthday and it was incredible. The rustic decor and intimate atmosphere were just an awesome compliment to the simple, grounded but deep meal. We talked about all the flavors we were still experiencing long after we cleared a plate. The coctails were top notch but were outshined by the curated sake flight. No notes, simply perfect, we will be back. Edit: got home and checked our recipt and realized that we never got one of our appetizers. Unfortunate, but I can't bring myself to lower my rating from 5 stars it was that good!

The food CAN be good if you order the correct items. Overall, the hype did not match the exprience. Service and ambiance was great, but I'd recommend coming on Thursday when all sushi (minus the seasonal) is half price. We felt less at a loss- had we paid full price I'd have been more upset.
Had a booking for my sister birthday dinner. At first everything was fine. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice. However I only give it a 2 star b/c the service was bad. Not sure what happened but we felt like we did not get the service that we expected for the price of the food. Our servers never really come by just only for the food. She also forgot our birthday complementary dish. However, the guest next to us got theirs. Once she took our checked she never come back to our table. So we didn’t even have the chance to ask or tell her. Just overall we left the restaurant disappointed. For the price we paid we should have been treated better.

Somehow two years old and my friends are just now bringing me here??? I had never been, which felt irresponsible. We sat at the bar and the bartender was excellent. We went sashimi and nigiri-heavy, as one should, and the scallop nigiri sealed the deal for me. I’m deeply loyal to any restaurant that does scallop right. Pro tip do the brownie and the shoestring fries for dessert. A little salty and sweet action.

Beautiful presentation of all dishes, unique menu. Found some dishes low on salt but were perfect once I added a little bit of salt. We sat at the kitchen counter, Megan was an excellent hostess, very sweet and knowledgeable, enjoyed a lot our meal. We will definitely come back
