Came here for a dinner date with some friends and I cannot say enough good things. The food was AMAZING and I will definitely be back. Service was outstanding, reasonably priced, and such unique dishes!

As a former restaurateur, I appreciate how difficult it is to pull off the kind of experience Novel offers. It's a terrific restaurant.

Food was awesome. My fiancee can’t eat red sauce anymore due to a stomach condition, so the white bolognese on the rigatoni was perfect for her. She’s still talking about it days later. My only comment is that it felt weirdly bright for as nice as the restaurant was, which is perhaps subjective.

The place was dirty theyre were rats eating my food before i even got theyre was poop on the chair the employes were rude eugh the bathroom was ew poop all over the walls

We have been going to Novel since it was in its original location in the Westside. This time was different, it has always been good but this time the food was over the top. Two stand outs were the pasta with foie gras and the egg with fish roe. We all really enjoyed our meal and our server was first class. Novel is on my short list of favorites in KC.
I have been to Novel several times. This was one of my favorite ever visits. Our server was excellent. The food was insanely delicious. I really appreciate the work and effort the kitchen puts into keeping the menu fresh and flavorful. Nice selection of cocktails also. This place is consistently top-notch.

Chef Ryan and his team are impeccable, from the presentation of the dishes through and through to the flavors. The wines accomplished the dishes so well everything sang in harmony together. As a chef looking for an experience this was it. Novel hit every mark i was hoping for, from food to wine and hospitality alone. Their hospitality in our unfortunate night was top tier as well. Thank you to the kictchen staff and our server Trey as well. Top notch service, food, cocktails and wine program. You’re missing out by not dining at this establishment.

A very cute and quaint little place. Food was amazing and so were the drinks! We tried the polenta appetizer, a pasta dish and the halibut. Not pictures is the bread and their delicious butter & hummus and we also got a taster of the crab bisque and a salad. They do spread dishes out a bit so you do not feel rushed which is nice.

Novel is a dreamy spot. Their food is super inventive and delightful. Their service can be a bit slow (it took an hour to get our main course), but I would wait two hours for that pistachio pie. We got drinks - flotation device and some red wine - but the crispy farm egg is a STAR app. One of the best KC restaurants!
