The people were great. The rice was bad, the veggie chimichanga had multiple pieces of meat in it and didnt include the ingredients i requested.

I’m not one to ever leave bad reviews but if I could give zero stars, I would. It was our first time at this location. I’ve been to an On The Border restaurant in kc and it was nothing like this one. The service was terrible, she never asked us if everything was tasting okay or if we were good. When asking for something, she just kept walking past us. When ordering, she didn’t ask if we wanted the cup of queso or the bowl, just assumed we wanted the bowl. Then asked the next customer next to us what size she wanted. During checkout she asked twice if we wanted the change back, very unprofessional. Everything ordered was extremely dry. Tortillas were rock hard. One of the servers started cleaning tables a little after we got there and it smelt like he was cleaning with sewer water. At the end of our visit, she said “y’all are done here” overall just a very bad experience.

Should’ve known when we showed up at dinner time and the place was empty. Food was horrid. It was drowned in lime juice and cilantro. Too expensive first of all… $15 for 3 tacos that were close to burnt. What kind of a Mexican place burns tortilla shells? Literally terrible. Waitress was rude. Ticket said her name was Shila. She was apparently too busy to fill our drinks considering she copped an attitude when my husband asked her to fill his and snatched it and stormed away before I could ask her to fill mine. Terrible food and terrible service I’d give 0 stars if I could.

The place is going down hill fast. They usually do not have enough servers to handle the crowd and if and when they do have enough servers the food can be lackluster at times...... Rice is hard or the for the tacos is very funny, queso is lumpy or extremely thick and the drinks from the bar aren't what they used to be.

We haven’t been here in a while. Used to be a great place to eat. Let’s start with this, we walked in and the host saw us standing there and went to wipe off several tables before acknowledging us. Once seated, the waitress came to take our actual order and we asked her for more chips and she seemed bothered that we asked. She did not have a good demeanor at all. The. The food came out, the steak for the steak fajitas was dry, my husbands taco was burnt and the soup was bland. Our total bill was $130+ and we were so disappointed. I would have rather spent my money somewhere else. We won’t be back anytime soon. They need new management and they need to train their cooks and train their servers in customer service. Also, the place was super cold. Everyone in the restaurant had to eat with their coat on. When we asked our server about the heat she tried to laugh it off. My husband told her to look around at all the customers who were eating with their coats on. I understand that you’re not making a lot of money (we understand now that they were empty because of their own issues) but the customers you do have need to be taken care of. Turn the heat on.

The enchilada shells were hard and had to be cut with a knife. Beans were really runny and the rice was cold. The only positive was our server. Hard to believe that was a $70 meal.

Always amazing! Drinks are fantastic, food is fantastic, and the chips and salsa are FANTASTIC. And the service has been excellent every-time. Our last server, Shelly, was so awesome, attentive, and friendly. She killed it being the only server and bartender! Way to go girl! :) <3

We ordered carry out. When we got home, we found out we were missing a meal. I called to get it corrected and was called a liar. The food was cold when I got it, and I showed up 10 minutes before the requested time for it to be ready.

The restaurant was empty and it still took forever for the food to come out. There is never anyone there so I thought at least the food would be quick.
Yummy food over priced drinks. A little loud we went at noon. Also good service just got a fresh trainee is all. Not the best on your birthday but she will get there.

I really don’t recommend this restaurant. Not sure if it’s the location or the actual restaurant itself. Don’t get me wrong, I love how the staff are friendly and courteous but it’s the food and atmosphere that I didn’t really like. I got Carne Asada with veggies and it was cold when it was served. As if it was just microwaved. There were only few people not even 12 people were eating inside. Food was horrible except for their crunchy chips that’s it. Restroom was disgusting too as if it wasn’t cleaned for days
