Oscar's Authentic Mexican Grill

Ordered delivery, and the food was very mid. I had the “carne asada” burrito, which cost an extra dollar, and it was very bland. The carne asada tasted like a regular steak, without much seasoning or marinade flavor. Not to mention, it was rubbery. Quality of other ingredients were poor as well, and the Spanish Rice was so sad it was basically white rice lol. I think there are better options elsewhere; just my opinion!

Doordash dasher screwed up my order, didn't pick it up, delivered my add-order only, as Oscar's was closing. Called them, and one of their employees delivered it for me. Customer for life!! Helps that the food is as amazing as the customer service!! (Driver wouldn't even except a tip...customer for LIFE!!)

I rarely leave reviews, but I just must for this place.

After a VERY long day back in January while in Kansas City on a work trip, all I wanted was a burrito, some chips, and salsas. I took a chance and ordered Oscars via UberEats and was expecting just to satisfy my hunger. But what I got was much more. I developed borderline obsession with this dang burrito and have been thinking about it almost daily since my last trip. My husband will catch me day dreaming and I have to reassure him it’s not over another man, it’s over a burrito that is 2 plane rides away from where I live.

But here I am, back in Kansas City for work. And I waited all day to order. And, you know how sometimes you just build something up in your head and then it’s actually disappointing IRL? Well, friends, this was the opposite. The burrito was somehow better than the first time.

Thank you Oscar for ruining all other burritos for me. I’ll be thinking about you daily until I return to KC for another work trip (and a burrito)

PS please figure out how to ship these to Pittsburgh? Please!

Stopped by Crossroads Food Stop today to try Oscar’s for the first time and YOOOOOOOO the food was sooooo good. Moving here from Houston, I have been missing Mexican cuisine and this is some of the best I’ve had.

My first time trying! The food was good but was lacking quite a bit of flavor! Tastes bland; if they add seasoning & other flavors that’d be better! The food was an acceptable temperature for delivery! Nice prices & a decent amount of food!

Not authentic at all. Stay away, it’s disgusting. Who eats enchiladas with tortillas de harina and queso dip cheese? I’m so serious the taste is definitely not authentic at all. If you want real Mexican food, don’t go to this place.

One of my favorite burrito places in Olathe is in KC. Very good.

Finally stopped in for lunch today, placed our order online after signing up to collect points and it was super easy. Food was ready when we arrived and was absolutely awesome!!! We will definitely be back!
