Very cute but tiny place, definitely make reservations!! My sister and I started with a lemon drop martini and an Italian Margarita. I loved the margaritas and so did she, she ordered one for her second drink. Then we had the appetizer platter. It was all very good. Then we shared 2 entrees, the chicken marsala and the orrechiette gorgonzola. They were both good but I loved the marsala.

Unimpressed.Presentation of food was very disappointing. The plates themselves were not favourable. It looked like something they’d serve at a diner.Bruschetta with prosciutto tasted good.My chicken walnut pasta was very disappointing. Huge chunks of walnut, no flavour, chicken looked like they bought the grilled chicken pack from Costco and threw it on top of this dish. Domino’s pasta had more flavour than here.My friend’s lamb chops were dismal according to him. Not bad, but not worth getting again.I feel like this place has a better rapport than it should because Kansas City’s Italian restaurant selection is pretty limited.

I’ve been eating here since 2000, the food is always delicious, service is always amazing! The only drawback was reservations pre-Covid. The new reservations via the website solve this one tiny issue. The food is still outstanding and the service amazing! The drinks from the bar were wonderful!

I went in with high expectations, having heard rave reviews from friends and I was definitely not disappointed.The atmosphere is cozy, it's homey yet classy, just a nice place to be. There is a nice selection of wine and they have a good selection of classic cocktails for $10.The service was outstanding, they were busy and our server had alot going on, however him and the rest of the staff were all friendly, personable and knowledgeable.The food was top notch, we tried the osso bucco pasta and the lobster and ricotta ravioli, both delicious.We will be back!

We loved the food at IL Centro and the service is fantastic. They still spread the tables and they’re more people. They are celebrating with 26% off wine and other specials. We had crab bisque and it was so creamy with chunks of crab. The pasta and the special carne were outstanding. Thank you Earnest for great service.

Was really excited to try this place out in South Plaza. But the food just mediocre and nothing too special. It could be that we went during KC restaurant week and ordered off that menu, would love to try again and order off their full menu. Cute clean place though!
