Not really what I was hoping for, at the end of the day it's just another bar in Kansas City. Sure there's video games and I went early just to check the spot out just to see if there's anything that would wow me but they opened late and didn't get a chance to actually enjoy anything about the place. Maybe another time, maybe another day... But it was not this day

Otaku lounge as a breath of fresh air in the nightlife community. So many clubs boast about having a fully inclusive, safe, and fun atmosphere, but fall short. Erick and co Deliver on that promise and so much more.
An anime themed nightclub is the spot Kansas City didn’t know it desperately needed. I am proud of everything they have accomplished and I endorse and recommend them to everybody.

Went with a group of friends for a joint birthday celebration, and had the absolute best experience. Great music, vibe, and friendly people all around. Owner and staff were a hoot, will add this to the list of places to come back to in KC 💕 good drinks, fun games, its a must see for people who enjoy having fun.

Unwelcoming, unfriendly, and uncomfortable atmosphere. Nonrefundable rule is ridiculous if you pay $10 at the gate just to leave 3 minutes later. There should be a considerate chance to refund at least within 7 minutes of entry. Bartender wouldn't even look our way, there is no possible way to get a drink when the bar is full all night.

Wonderful atmosphere! Lots of fun to do karaoke with a bunch of nerds. I also appreciate how the staff goes out of their way to make sure it stays a safe place where you can be yourself.

Terrible service! Waiter said she’d be right with us as she’s smoking a cigarette with her boyfriend outside the told us she’d be right with us but spent 15-20 mins with her boyfriend at the bar! Couldn’t even get anything

Really like the bar. It was definitely fun and bar tender Matt* was a great personality. Loved the atmosphere as an Anime fan of my own. Though im not much of a people person, they were still friendly and i loved the vibe. 10/10 vibe.
