Pizza is pretty good but don't stay past 8:00 on a weeknight. That is when all of the chairs get stacked up very loudly on top of the empty tables. This an hour before the restaurant closes, in what seems like an attempt to clear out the remaining tables with customers so the employees can leave at 9:00 on the dot. I wanted to order a few more beers, but felt like we were all a burden staying 45 minutes prior to close. One table had ordered a pizza at 8:15, it was clear that this was a major faux paux.

Great pizza! Plus they had a killer band tonight! If they play again, I'm definitely coming back!

Awesome lunch special, $6.99 for a slice of pizza that’s bigger than your face, a huge breadstick and a drink. Loved the pizza!

I've heard of Papa Keno's but didn't know exactly where it was at. This place is great for a quick slice or to sit down with a lunch date. We had great portions at a reasonable price. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was outstanding. Love the retro look with the older 80's arcade games and pinball machine. If you leave still hungry, then you didn't do something right.

Such good service!!! Had an unfortunate issue with DoorDash and we ended up going to pick up our own food and Papa Keno's was so nice about the whole situation. Always recommend their food and their service makes it even better.

Excellent lunch spot in the Crossroads!

Nice crust to pizza ratio, with a perfectly crunchy and yet soft crust. Coming from Chicago, I find myself pretty critical on reviewing pizza when I try a new place. Papa Kenos passed with flying colors!!! Nice vibe inside, and affordable prices for the size of portions!

I've been a faithful (albeit it occasional as I live out of town) fan of Papa Keno's for over 20 years now, visiting various locations around KC and taking MANY family and friends here. Their pizza is ALWAYS amazing! The concept of the giant slices is so fun and unique in the Midwest, and the creative toppings really set this place apart. It's got such a cool fun vibe too- with honey for crust dipping and colorful art and murals at all locations I've visited. I wish I didn't have to leave a less than stellar review this time, but our visit to the new-ish Crossroads location left a lot to be desired in the customer service department. We stopped in early evening on Monday, the 30th and dealt with a woman at the counter who could have cared less that we were there. My husband's stomach can't tolerate red sauce, and I had read on the menu that they offered both Taco and BBQ so we were hoping for an alternative. All I've EVER ordered is the Melvin, so we were hoping for some assistance. This woman was EXTREMELY rude and condescending while explaining to us that we couldn't customize the slices and they ALL came with red sauce. I politely asked about the BBQ chicken, and she said it came with both Red and BBQ? I honestly think she was making it up at this point. If that's the way it is, it's fine- but she was just so rude. My husband was also having a hard time hearing her, and it almost seemed that she talked softer and softer just to annoy him. He ended up opting for a sandwich, and the food was amazing as always. I tried to Fromage dip for the first time as well, and will definitely have that again! Will I stop going to Papa Keno's? Let's be honest- NO. I may not go back to this location though, and I'll entrust that the same people who have made this place an institution over they years, will address this experience with their staff.

The Columbo with roasted diced garlic, extra cheese and extra sauce is divine. The crust is perfect! And the size is truly as big as my face ???

Whoever thought to put spoonfuls of roasted garlic on pizza is my hero! The Columbo with garlic, extra cheese and extra sauce was fantastic. The crust is perfect. And the slice really is as big as my face, so I'm glad they cut it up into smaller sections you can pickup. The salad was fine, but I didn't really need it. I'll just eat a salad for dinner after napping off my food coma from delicious delicious pizza...
