I ordered a Jr. Double, tater tots, onion rings, and a chocolate malt. It wasn't bad per say, but I will break down why everything fell notably short of expectations.
The meat on the burger, might have been thinner than the meat McDonald's uses on their McDoubles. Taste was okay - something missing. The tater tots tasted only of grease and were highly oily. As in, I could feel my mouth coated in fat. The onion rings were actually extremely crunchy, but then the onion inside was thin and unchewable, like they had used the skin layer of the onion. The chocolate malt was literally just chocolate soft serve in a cup. I could still see the ribbing from the nozzle because the ice cream was so solid. It did not seem to have any malt flavoring, which I paid extra for, and I was expecting something drinkable. I was wondering if they had forgotten my straw to go with the spoon they gave me, but then I opened the lid and it became apparent they didn't give me a straw for a very purposeful reason.
All in all, I wouldn't go back. I thought it would be a local gem kind of place, but instead it's more of a "there's a reason this isn't a widely national chain" kind of place.
Took long time to be waited on even though three people behind counter. And no one else in line.

This is a good old-fashioned hamburger place. Onion rings and tater tots are our favorite side. The double big boy is the burger we go for. The last time I visited was a little slow, so the employees were giving the place a good cleaning!

Great food. My kids and I decided to stop in for the new ice cream nachos. They were a hit with the kids. I also recommend the bacon cheeseburger. The two females working the front of the house were very friendly, I didn’t catch one of their names but Ryiah was one of them. We will definitely be back!

For a drive-in, they serve some of the best soft serve ice cream that I've ever had.
Be prepared to wait for a short bit -- but the wait is worth it.
Got a half cooked chicken sandwich. I hope I don’t get food poisoning from eating some of it. I took pictures of it but don’t know how to put them on here. We also ordered a tenderloin sandwich with no sauce get home only to find out they put sauce on it. The onion rings was over cooked and tasted like grease. The food has really good down hill.
*Update*: If a grown man is more concerned with his phone than the customers standing in front of him, he should take the day off or quit. I know y'all know who I'm talking about too lol move to the back or something! I miss the old management.
Great food, made to order, and it's always hot! Wonderful service on the south side of KC, one of the last restaurants to do it. Be careful unwrapping your sandwich! ?

I came here for the first time yesterday, and they did not disappoint! I had a big burger and fries combo with a banana shake. The food was hot and fresh, not to mention delicious! But the best part was the customer service! The gentleman taking my order was very friendly, and patient with me. I had alot of questions because I'd never eaten here. It was just refreshing to have someone speak to you kindly and greet you with a smile. I will be back.

I just left 15 minutes ago. I told the guy no onions and no pickles on my number one. He says no onions okay. I say no onions AND pickles. He says no onions no pickles got you. Guess what I got on my sandwich? The very two things I did not want, onions and pickles. This is the second time in 3 weeks. Last time a female took my order. Told her the same thing and guess what I got? Pickles and onions!
So at this point I'm left thinking if two employees have a case of early dementia. What did they just give me what they had ready? Or do you just not care about true customer service? Either way it's a bad deal. Looks like I'm going to have to bypass the restaurant altogether in the future

Sometimes the food is fantastic and other times it's not worth finishing. If they were consistent it would be great. The wait can get pretty long.

Worst experience I ever had here sunday 7/28. 3pm. Probably will never come back since I have to drive so far to come here. Was going to be my girlfriends first experience as well. Terrible. 0/5.
