Food was good, would have been better if the waitress/bartender didn't take it away before we were done eating it though. Not once but twice did she remove a plate without asking if we were done. The second time, the young man literally had his hands on the wings when she picked up the plate and walked away with it. The front door wasn't open which forced us to walk in the back. Had I seen the state of the kitchen upon entering, I probably wouldn't have eaten there....

The peanut is dang good. Their wings are super good and the house made blue cheese is incredible. Bar is classic dive bar. Bartenders were a little rude but maybe because they were busy. This last time was kind of eh though. So one off meal after maybe a half dozen excellent meals.

The Peanut is a Kansas City gem! The wings? Absolutely legendary. Crispy, juicy, and paired with homemade blue cheese so good it deserves its own fan club. 🧀🔥

As someone from the Western New York area (where wings are practically a religion), I don’t hand out compliments lightly — but these wings totally pass the test. Consider me impressed!
