went on a friday during a chief's game, the place was PACKED!! fun atmosphere, cold beer, QUICK service. pretty small building, but that adds to the charm!! will return and definitely recommend!!
If you are heading to Kansas City and want a place that has history, great people, and good conversation, this is your place. Believed to be the oldest bar in Kansas City, you will find a mix of people from construction workers to millionaires all sitting at the bar, having an ice cold long neck beer, and enjoying the best chicken wings in Kansas City. I do prefer the food at the other Peanut locations. (The Peanut wings are a MUST try!) Plus this one can be difficult to get into due to being a locals hangout. Don’t even try to sit at the bar. However, it’s a classic local pub feel which is always fun to experience. Enter through the back door. A bit of outdoor seating but not a lot.
