Great food and people.
Evening my table had was fantastic - on point!
Best pho in town
Got the beef pho and the combination pho. The pho was super delicious. It was the perfect amount of sweet and the added chili oil made it perfectly spicy to taste. The staff was nice and attentive. Overall what I tried was really delicious and very affordable. I will definitely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back to try more items on their menu whenever I’m back in town.
Quintessential mom-n-pop...Our last visit the pho N2 was a tad underwhelming...too much pho not quite enough broth to go with...but our server did gladly provided an additional helping...makes it all better! The folksy karoake on screen can be a few notches lower in volume...🙏...
Went here for lunch on a Sunday. Got seated immediately as there were a few tables open. Ordered the Pho Dac Biet and Goi Cuon. The spring rolls came first served with peanut sauce. The rice paper was a bit hard and chewy which was a disappointment because it tasted good especially with the sauce. The Pho though was delicious - specifically the broth and the portion size was generous. Service was very fast, I think I waited only 10mins and everything was on the table already.
Just straightforward good food: no frills.

i had a wonderful experience here. the last time i ate here at this location, it was pho kc - my parents were super close with the old owners who knew me when i was a wee lass. the new faces at pho lan still treated me as if i was family! there are street parking spaces out front, and going inside it is very clean with less booths than i remember and more tables. they were incredibly kind and attentive to me. ordering was a breeze in vietnamese.
i had their cha gio as an appetizer, and their pho dac biet as my entree with an iced tea. the tea had a wonderful aroma and soft flavor (for only $1.50!) and the cha gio was fresh and a wonderful small bite to start off my meal. the accompanying nuoc cham was a perfect blend of sweet, spicy, and savory, i ended up pouring the rest of it into my pho.
to follow up, the pho was amazing! all the meat fixings and fresh garnishes you would expect for pho dac biet, and the broth reminded me of my own mom's broth... it felt like being back at home with the classic viet jams in the background that i couldn't help but hum along to! the damage was only $20.50 for a giant bowl of delicious pho, two fresh eggs rolls, and iced tea. i would wholeheartedly recommend coming in here for not just a meal but what felt like home away from home ❤️

Restaurantji Recommends
I’ve been a customer for 4 years. I’ve tried most of the restaurants that serve Pho in KC and there are some other good places but Pho Lan KC is the best. Very good food, large portions, fast friendly service and a good price. If I lived closer I would eat there several days a week. I recommend it to everyone.

This place was really good. Really enjoyed the Vietnamese spring rolls and all the Pho. The portions are absolutely huge, and I can probably get like 3 meals out of it.

Added this place to my lunch rotation. I went for the Pho but got a combo rice dish instead. I also had to try the Crab Rangoon. It was delicious. My friends said the Pho is the best. I will definately go back for Pho.

Quiet mom and pop place serving authentic Vietnamese fare. We had the appetizer salad which was really good, and the shrimp spring rolls, also very good. Prices are very fair which is really rare nowadays.
