Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe UMKC Campus

We came in for lunch. The store was clean and well maintained. The menu was large and very detailed. When we placed our order it seemed like they had a lot of people there to work but not actually working. Our order took a long time to make. The gluten friendly options were nice but the price charged was a little high for the amount of food we got. I think charging for lettuce as a bun is crazy! I don't think we will be back.

A solid location in Brookside and perfect if you are in the area or have an extended project going on at Rockhurst and it's lunch time! The management staff here is above and beyond and on the ball. This location is tidy and organized. The food is prepared quickly but carefully and tastes just like it should. I LOVE Picklemans. Most people go for the sandwiches but I am a huge fan of their pizza. You get to customize it anyway you want and they make it to order. The crust is thin crust, basically a St. Louis style pizza (party cut). Cooked to perfection every time. Also, if you've never tried their fresh baked cookies, DO IT!!! I was not expecting them to be so tasty.
