Taylor Elizabeth Cakes

The normal thing to do would probably be to write this review about the absolutely perfect, dream wedding cake and desserts that I received from Taylor, but that would only scratch the surface. When I first met Taylor I was booking her space to use for an event - she made sure everything was in order, answered my million questions without making me feel over-the-top, and took care of all the work. When I found out she was also a baker, I knew exactly who I would go to for my wedding cake without a second thought. What I didn't know is that I would make a friend in the process. We now look forward to being apart of all of her events, showing up in the community for her, and seeing her family around the city. She is kind, patient, caring, and absolutely incredible at what she does. She is truly a master of her craft. She can take your vision and execute it without a second thought. (And she does Gluten-Free options!!!!) Taylor is our #1 baker in Kansas City for so many reasons. You will love everything about this place and this person!

Our favorite weekend stop! We always enjoy stopping by the cake shop on Saturdays to get a pack of mini cupcakes. The flavors are always SO good. Current favorites have been cookies and cream and cosmic brownie!

I hosted a bridal shower for my best friend and the cake came out perfect! The process was so easy and the work is stunning! Ordering all my cakes here now

Taylor designed and created the most stunning wedding cake that matched our wedding vision exactly! Her cake flavor options are so delicious and she made sure we would have enough cake for each guest. We can’t thank her enough for making our wedding cake dreams come true!

I am a wedding planner in the KC area and I have had the great pleasure of working with Taylor Elizabeth Cakes recently at a couple of styled shoots as well as a wedding vendor networking event. Aside from being a super nice person, Taylor is professional, arrives on time, and does not disappoint! If you need someone to make you a cake that has impeccable detail, looks stunning, AND is delicious – Taylor is your girl. I plan on recommending her services to all my couples!

Taylor was easy to work with. Excellent communication. We had a Halloween themed wedding and I really had no idea what I wanted in terms of design and she came up with something so cute. She would’ve also added our florals to it had they showed up to the venue on time. (Obviously 100% on us, I thought they’d be there). And the cake looked great without them. (Photos attached taken by Hallie Sigwing Photography) also worked with us to provide separate cupcakes for our guests with allergies. On top of looking great, the cake was delicious.

Taylor is amazing to work with , sh s very dedicated to her trade and very much strives to make her clients happy her cakes and cookies are absolutely beautiful and taste as good as they look ! I highly recommend her 10 out of 10

Love her yummy cakes! If you’re looking for buttercream, she’s the best! We have ordered multiple cakes with her throughout the years. She is always creative in the styling of them.

Taylor designed our wedding cake and not only was it beautiful and elegant, but it was very delicious! We received many compliments from our guest who loved the cake! Taylor made the whole process very easy and delivered the cake to our reception. Highly recommend!

Great cake designs! Taylor was fantastic to work with. She is good with communication and I feel like I gave general info on how I wanted the cakes to be and it’s like she knew my idea and designed the cakes so beautiful. She even put flowers as a cake topper and they added the extra that was needed to complete the cakes! I will definitely reach out to Taylor for all my future cake needs!

I’ve ordered multiple cakes from her. She is able to take the party theme and come up with a beautiful design. Here’s one from my daughters mermaid party!

I did not even know that cake could taste this good! Taylor did my wedding cake and it was the most beautiful, delicious thing I could have ever imagined. She created my perfect vision and made it taste better than I could have imagined. Highly recommend!
