Awesome food! Great service! Awesome atmosphere! Set in Union station, Kansas City. This is a nice place to go for cocktails and then dinner but save room for they have really good desserts!

At least they’re not claiming to be prime anymore

This place is okay. They're super fancy. Don't get me wrong, they did everything right. I just would rather spend that kind of money on something tangible, I guess.

Great find and enjoyed the food

We had our Board of Director Holiday dinner in the Belvedere room and the experience was terrific. The food and drinks were excellent and the setting was great overlooking the main hall of Union Station. Service was excellent and organization of the dinner was convenient. Would definitely recommend and we will likely be back again in the future for dinners.

Beautiful restaurant and amazing service. The food is fantastic and the lobster Mac and cheese is phenomenal. Bison steak was cooked to perfection and yes it may be a tad pricey, but it's clear they have dedicated a lot of effort into each dish. Absolutely recommend.

My husband and I came to Pierpont’s for his 30th birthday and we had the most amazing experience there starting from the beginning with parking. So much parking and so easy to access despite being in the city.
We had a reservation for 5:15 and we arrived just a little before and were still taken to our table immediately. We have made reservations at many other restaurants around KCMO and have still had to wait, even with a reservation.
We were quickly greeted by the most amazing server, Namira. She was so kind, patient and made the best recommendations on drinks, apps and meals. She was a bubbly, nice and a no pressure server. Our waters were always filled and dishes were cleared immediately. She genuinely seemed to be there to create a great atmosphere and fine dining experience for us!
Namira recommended the ancho chili and coffee rub ribeye with Grand Marnier butter for my husband and we were blown away with the savory, sweet and slightly earthy tones that this steak had. It also was cooked perfectly all the way through. Another feature that isn’t always executed perfectly. The crust on the outside was amazing too.
My dish was the cioppino. The seafood in the dish was outstanding. Black mussels, sword fish and shrimp. All perfectly cooked in the most flavorful and comforting tomato broth.

The drinks were on point as well. We had their Buffalo Trace old fashions and they were delicious.
Needless to say we had the best dining experience out in a long time. From parking, to our server, service, food and atmosphere we had the best time. We were truly waited on and had the best time. We will definitely be back!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant for happy hour while in Kansas City at Union Station. Tim, the manager, was incredibly helpful in getting us a table, which made for a great start to the experience. I tried the French 72 and Pierpont’s Manhattan, both of which were impressive and well-crafted. From the happy hour menu, we enjoyed the burger, mac and cheese, and baked oysters all were flavorful and exceeded expectations. It's a great spot to unwind with quality drinks and food.

Fantastic experience!! Due to a change of plans, we arrived about an hour early for our reservation on Christmas Eve and they were kind enough to accommodate us right away. I also want to mention that we originally booked a standard table but the high top was even better for the views and ambiance. We sat right in front of the most beautiful mahogany bar and got to watch the bartenders climb up and down the super high ladder. The food was all exceptional but the baked pimento cheese tray was to die for. The fresh baked sourdough bread was also phenomenal. We had mostly seafood and everything was delicious.
