Piropos Restaurant "A Taste of Argentina well served”

We had not been to Piropos before, but we unanimously agreed that we will make it one of our favorite restaurants in the future!

Everything was just as impeccable as the 1st time we went. That was over a decade ago. The restaurant itself so vibrant & eclectic. The staff so helpful, professional, & friendly. Our meal, a med/rare filet mignon, tiger prawns, lobster risotto & asparagus. Every bite was mouthwatering. Not to mention, our banana cake dessert. If you haven't been. Or, if it's been awhile since. You must make a reservation. If not in 2025. Then, the new year. It books quickly! MWAH

As usual, the whole experience was fantastic...food, atmosphere and our server Rene were top notch! I have only one complaint...we didn't order drinks off their menu. My wife had a amoretto sour and I had a martini. Both drinks were $20 and came in the smallest glasses I have ever seen for those drinks. Her drink was full of ice and had very little actual drink. My drink was straight up but came in the smallest martini glass I have ever seen. $20 was way overpriced for the amount we got. We know better now...will be going back but will not order well drinks.

We have never had bad food or bad service at Piropos! Our last visit was fantastic starting with delicious cocktails and finishing with a perfectly cooked meal. Our server was also great!

One of our favorite places! Food is always wonderful and as a plus, they also have a nice range of gluten free options for me.

I just told somebody tonight I’ve never been disappointed going to Piropus the service and the food always wonderful. Tonight things changed the bus boy never brought our missing table setting, even though our reservation was for three and he ignored dirty plates on the table, just kept walking by. Our waitress had to be coached to be personable. The mushrooms were over salted. All of our potatoes and vegetables were cold. The steaks were done I’l two perfection. When leaving there was no one to say goodbye as usual if they would’ve asked how things were I would’ve told him rather than writing a review. There is more but no need to go on. Disappointing for sure that somewhere that I’ve always enjoyed going to every time I’m in town to take family or friends. I don’t care to go back again. It’s not what it used to be.

Beautiful restaurant! Food was amazing. For an appetizer we had the Ceviche, delicious.I had the Peppercorn filet, sautéed mushrooms, potatoes au gratin and sautéed spinach. My wife had pasta carbonara. Desert was cheesecake and a bread pudding. Everything was phenomenal!

The food was great, as always. The waiter Jace was lovely and attentive. It's a pricey place but it's worth it. My only issue this time is that when he packaged our to-go boxes (we only ate half of our meal), he gave us the wrong one-so we got someone else's leftovers. Basically, I wasted $50 on food I didn't get to take with me. And someone else wanted money as well.

Another great meal here! Since our first date was at the original Piropos in Parkville, we spend our all of our anniversaries with them! Food fantastic, Service outstanding, ambience eclectic and fun! Looking forward to more anniversaries in the future 🥰

Excellent from the greeting and seating. Server very knowledgeable and 100% on point with selections. This was for my 65th birthday and it did not disappoint!! Will be back.

My wife and I recently went here for the first time, and the food and hospitality staff were WONDERFUL. However..
My wife and I chose Piropos to celebrate our 1st year wedding anniversary, and let me start byy saying that the food, the environment, the decor, everything was fantastic. Unfortunately, the service we received was extremely disappointing. We were immediately treated as if we were a bother or an inconvenience by coming in. I was very put off by this, because we had just told her (our server) that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and that neither one of us had been to this restaurant before and we were both excited.

When it came time to order, she was very vauge in making recommendations in food, and very quickly offered one or two white wines when asked what would pair best with my dish. It all just felt very rushed. She never congratulated us on our wedding anniversary or welcomed us in. We felt that she wanted us in and out. Overall, we were very pleased with the food and hospitality staff, just very disappointed that our server wasn't interested in making our special evening any more memorable.
We will return, but will request not to be seated with this particular server.

The restaurant's ambience and food are excellent. Our server was friendly and offered good advice regarding menu choices but was not very attentive.
