This was one of the best steaks I have ever had. The sides were equally delicious. The excellent food combined with the more laid back atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for during our trip to KC.

We've been there three other times. We have had great experiences every time. The wait staff is very professional and attentive. The food is very good. This last time it was for our 44th anniversary.
We have only ONE complaint: We miss the piano.

Excellent experience-delicious meal, superb service and a tranquil atmosphere. Bridget provided recommendations and maintained a leisurely, but timely pace. Crab cakes and shrimp for appetizers, filet and chicken roulette as entrees and desserts.

We went tonight for our 41st anniversary. What a beautiful, exceptional place!! I had the Chicken Roulette and my husband had the filet. We shared the bread basket and sauces as well as a house salad. Oh. My. Goodness!! I don't have words to describe how good this food is! Knowing I have not been to every restaurant in KC or the Northland (although I have been to many over the years), this one has to be at the top of the list! The raspberry cheesecake they brought us was undeniably the creamiest I have ever had, homemade or otherwise. We are looking forward to returning - I really want to try the empanadas!

We wanted to celebrate my daughter's special accomplishment. Our table had a beautiful view. All of the food was excellent. We loved the calamari and bacon wrapped shrimp. Crab cakes, crab bisque, steak and pasta all excellent . Our server was excellent which isn't easy with 2 young children. Our special celebration was indeed special!

Me and my girlfriend went to eat here for my 21st birthday. We had been here once before and had An amazing experience all around. Unfortunately this time it was not as good of an experience. Our server Toni K was rude and gave the impression she was frustrated with being sat with a young couple. Not sure if she assumed since we were young we couldn’t afford to eat and tip her well, but during the middle of our meal she walked up and asked us if we wanted boxes to go and we were only 10 minutes into eating after the food came out. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all but the way she was trying to rush us off of her table would make you think it was a packed house. Besides the poor service, the food was phenomenal once again and will definitely be going back, but will be hoping for a little more respect. I understand young couples is probably uncommon there, but that doesn’t give our server the right to assume we won’t tip well and treat us like we are a waste of her time.
