I stopped by for a quick lunch here last week. I ordered the potato soup. It was good, but served lukewarm. It would have been more enjoyable if it were hotter. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean. I would certainly go there again.

Seriously the kindest people working here. If you’ve had planet sub anywhere you know what it is. Solid consistent food. But this particular location was so much better because the people working here were so sincerely kind and actually cared about the experience of the customer. Such a good experience here.

The building is here but I don't think the are still in business. They are always closed when I go by. I placed an order online yesterday. It said they closed at 3pm and I had to pickup the order by 2:30pm. I was there at 2:20pm. The doors were locked, all the lights were out and no one was there. Didn't look like anyone had been there for quite a while. Also, their online menu lists one price but you get charged a higher price.

13 years ago, I worked next door to marry the circle. The men at Planet Sub didn't care about my status even if I wore it on my finger. I had stopped ovulating with my then husband in response to let's not reproduce with that one. Those young men from next door flipped that switch back on with turkey sandwiches, blts, and hot hot bacon with onion covered soup. I watched my world shatter unexpectedly; I cried for a week at my new job, she had just given me a promotion and all I saw was my ability to finally leave that man. Then the conundrum of God, marriage and the rights to my body pursued while that security guard Christian told me that he was taking over, kissed me at the movies, and tried to get me into a two piece bathing suit at his apartment while six months pregnant. BEWARE of this food establishment, you may find yourself satisfied to the extent that your child is thirteen and I still haven't told her, her actual name is hot potato not "No." I am so happy this place is still open. Do you muffaletta for more temptation? Maybe this time we could fish up a full young man to appease instead of procreate and I'll share the soul and sandwich... Maybe bring him in. We already lost the 909 but we still have the arts that keep on giving. /High-five

I just left the planet sub downtown and had one of the best experiences I’ve had getting food from a “restaurant” in a longtime. Unfortunately I didn’t get the young man’s name but he was courteous, respectful, friendly and helpful. If only all establishments had a young man like this. I’ll definitely be going back for the customer service alone.

3 times now someone has FORGOTTEN THE DRESSING when I order a Tempeh Reuben. The last time it happened, I had walked from my office to pick it up; I walked back, and it was CLOSED (before 4 btw). Today, I go to pick it up, and it's not in the bag AGAIN. Is it that hard to train staff to include the dressing?? This sandwich is DRY without it, and inedible. Do better.

Door and website say open till 4 pm Monday thru Friday. Employee says 3 pm on Friday and would not serve me at 2:55 pm

Horrible customer service. A staff member literally let me inside after doors were closed an hour earlier than they’re supposed to be and then proceeded to tell me they are closed and I need to leave the premises immediately. Always understaffed and closing early. Planet Sub is my favorite sandwich shop I go to. But I can never get it at this location. Always closed randomly or understaffed. Never trained properly. Its like going to a completely different place. Never spending money at this location again.

I enjoy their food and keep coming back for years, but lately my special instructions for toppings have not been honored, even though paid for through the app. Inconsistent both with respect to additional toppings or leaving toppings off, and once it was made as a sandwich despite paying for a tortilla wrap.That said, the food I get is always hot and fresh and delicious, and my requests are not dietary restrictions so it is a minor complaint.

Ordered the breakfast burrito as staff recommended. Nobody was there so I presume the cook wasn't distracted or anything abnormal. 2 bites in I had to throw it away and leave. Worst breakfast I've had in recent memory and definitely the worst food I've had in downtown. Went next door to Jason's Deli and grabbed lunch instead. Glad I did. Won't be back and honestly surprised this place has even stayed open as long as it has.
