Had breakfast there. It was the first time I had been there. My food was cooked to perfection. The service was great, friendly and not overbearing. Atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. Portia's is a small place but we'll worth eating at.

There's often times no towels in the bathroom, but the chicken specials aren't bad the eggs are diner style the biscuits and gravy are heavy, the waitress / cook got a ticket 6 miles away so she's a prime candidate for someone that can bike to her place but no her owners of her place of employment say we do not like bike people and petitioned to get rid of the bike lane that was going in in front of the establishment. Heck the whole Northeast has plenty of people that cannot drive or do not own a car a bike lane will help improve their transportation situation probably even get them even more business

I've never had a worse experience. This is usually my favorite place to have a bite in the morning . But a waitress there ruined the entire morning myself and another customer ended up leaving. It would take to much time to write it the entire thing however the owner did nothing as the waitress screamed, yelled, and belittled me in the restaurant. We had to leave before eating, and honestly at that point why would we eat there. At 60v with grown children of my own and disabled I've never be spoken to like this in a place of business before. It was embarrassing and unprofessional, the owner at no point stepped forward or apologized for her staff. Poor managemen. It's a shame.. family owned, local businesses are hard to keep in business.
