Tried it for the first time I gave them a 3 for the wonderful staff. The food was cold the gravy looked hot on the biscuit and gravy but it ended up being Luke warm at best. Gravy didn’t have any flavor but flour and the biscuit I wasn’t even sure what type of biscuit it was. My French toast was not completely cooked and was eggy in the center. The coffee and the service was the best part.
Super cozy little spot to grab some late breakfast. They serve it till 1 PM. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Ladies tending the counter and the grill, were very kind, and made for decent conversation. Food was good. I got the Veggie Omelette plate w/ a side of sausage patties. It was stuffed with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese. Potatoes needed salt, but added my own. I enjoyed my meal. The food was great. All of the staff were friendly. Portia's Cafe is a breakfast and lunch diner. It's a place where if you become a regular customer everyone knows your name.
