If you’re wondering whether Q39 lives up to the hype — the answer is YES. Even on Valentine’s Day. Even when it was absolutely packed.
Q39 delivered in every possible way. The burnt ends and brisket? Hands down the best I have EVER had. Perfectly tender, caramelized, smoky little bites of heaven. And the ribs? Unreal. I was genuinely blown away.
Pro tip: always get the mac n cheese. Always. It’s creamy, cheesy, and the ultimate comfort side. And whatever you do, do NOT skip the carrot cake. It cannot be missed. Also, the Brew 39 draft beer made just for them? So good. The perfect pairing to all that BBQ goodness.
Now let’s talk about the real MVP — our server, T. She was dazzling. Spectacular. Amazing. She was on top of EVERYTHING: refills never empty, extra napkins before we even had to ask, brought out a full sauce flight so we could try it all, had bags and boxes ready, extra sauces packed up, and even sent us out with a sweet tea to go.
She was funny, personable, full of charisma, and knew the menu front to back. She even made sure to point out gluten-free options without missing a beat. That kind of attention to detail on one of the busiest nights of the year? Incredible.

After my husband and I having the worst experience at lulas for lunch while traveling this place and the people made the ending of out day a little more enjoyable. Avoid lulas. This place was so inviting and the food was amazing and the staff were all so welcoming and friendly. Give devon and frank at the bar a shot, you wont be disappointed their service is beyond superb.
We stopped by for a quick dinner while visiting KC and it was such a wonderful experience. From the moment we sat down, Devon and Frank made sure we were taken care of in the best ways. Our drinks were cold, our food was hot, and our service was top tier. It was the perfect stop for dinner and we will be back! Thank you, Devon and Frank, for the excellent service!
