Family style restaurant, portions are huge. Fried chicken was juicy but I feel could be a bit more flavorful. Service was amazing. Overall had a great evening with family. Definitely recommend for a night out with your family.

When I called to place a take out order the woman on the phone could not understand me and I could not understand her. She didn’t know the menu because when I asked for something that was listed on the menu she said that was not an option. I had to tell her 3 times that we would pick up the food at a certain time. When we arrived we went through the front door, not the carry out door, because the carry out door looked like it was a back room. Went through the front door and the hostess acted like we were an inconvenience since we had a carry out order. When we got home, the food was blah. Not like it used to be. The only food that had a decent flavor was the salad and green beans. Some of the chicken was not cooked completely. We liked to use RC’s when we would have family celebrations, but after tonight we will not be returning.

We visited RC's last night for dinner and were very disappointed. Not the same RC's I remember. The hostess seemed disturbed by us and took us to a table in the bar area. She slammed the menus on the table and walked away. Before we got seated a waitress walked by and said, "I need to find you another table". After some confusion, she said, "Okay, go ahead and sit here." We felt like we were a bother. Our waitress was friendly and did a good job. The food was blah! The fried chicken was flavorless. The chicken fried steak was underdone and not tasty. The biscuits were cold, dry and burnt on the bottom. The bar area was loud with a huge table beside us, and smelled smokey. The green beans, salad and cottage fries were good. Very disappointing dinner out with friends. We will not be back!

The food was okay not that great. The food came to the table very fast.The ckicken fried chicken was tender and seasoned good. The gravy was bland and taste like flour. The green beans were seasoned well. We felt rushed to finish. We weren't impressed.

I took the family for a well deserved night out. RC's is well known in the area for quality food and they did not disappoint. Their specialty is fried chicken and all enjoyed the feast. We'll be back, as we always are.

Went for dinner at 4:30 on a Saturday. Got seated quickly and placed our order. After that, we never saw our waitress until we had to flag her down to get our bill. The food was delivered by a kitchen server. We had to got to bar to get our own water refills. 3 waitresses were standing in the front lobby area talking. Food was good, but not great to come back to.

Tried it again. Few months later after the first time. We all know large mike loves bone in dark meat.

Got the dark meat dinner.

Chicken tasted
Well. Old. Maybe it was cooked five hours prior. Or yesterday. Small pieces. Lots of batter under that skin. No juice. Chewy.

Mash P had no flavor. Gravy was bland as you can get. G beans were ok. Bartender / server was awesome. But the food sucked. I hate to say it. Because I want to like them.

And then there was the salad…..
Man. If you like lettuce it’s your jam. I like cucumbers , cheese and all the fixings!
This has slim to none. Some of the salad was a few days old. The portion of ranch was good !!! Guy at bar said the f word several times. My mini me was on her phone as usual so no issues there.

I bought some salad dressing to go and the next day I noticed an extra $10 on my charge card, I called and the manager on duty said she would tell the general manger to call me and resolve the issue. Two days later no response, watch them for adding on additional tips and stealing from customers !!!

Had chicken for 4 delivered. The chicken was overcooked and visible by the dark extra crunch and very dry when eating. We have eaten at RC's for years and don't understand what's going on. We Sent a note about the unacceptable condition of our chicken, but no response.

We've lived in the KC metro for 10 years and are finally making our way to this revered establishment. Unfortunately, for us, it didn't meet expectations.
Our server was friendly and attentive. But the food was just, okay. Even though I fully believe they make everything from scratch,it all seemed commercial in quality.
The restaurant itself was old, dark, and smelled a bit dank which isn't very pleasant when trying to have dinner.

The woman handling the to go orders helped 4 people that came in after me when I was trying to order she could not understand me and I could not really understand her my advice is place a order online if you can.
