Went for birthday dinner for a good friend from the time we set reservation thru end of dinner we had great service. We ordered a whole cheesecake and they were great and got us each what we wanted of options they had. My dinner was a salad prime rib mashed potatoes and glass of malbec, all was great but mashed potatoes were just good.
We have loved RD for awhile; however, the last 3 times we have visited we have had to wait 15 minutes (we had reservations all 3 times), the waitstaff seemed too busy to be more attentive and gave the impression that everything needed to be done at supersonic speeds, and lacked any real service skills-it’s hard to explain but they just didn’t make us feel welcomed. We try to visit Red Door every time we’re in town for Chiefs games. Tonight’s experience was the best yet! Our server Cory made great recommendations and even though we have several menu items we love, I have a new favorite - the Julie’s Woodfire Chicken was amazing!!
