Ordered the oxtails dinner, the oxtails were very small and lean and size. It was more gelatin fat than meat. Lastly the price was really over priced I thought 30+ dollars for some gelatin meat and rice and peas, cabbage and cornbread.

Wanted a Caribbean vibe ! Decided to check out. The atmosphere gives party vibes. The service was good and the food was decent. Our order consisted of Curry Goat w White Rice and Rum Cake. Due to the time we went they ran out of Rice and Peas. I would definitely order something different but will try again. The slice of rum cake was a good size i didn’t try it but I heard it was good. The restroom was clean!!

This was our first time at Reggae’s Kitchen. The server barely said 5 words to me and only spoke because I asked her what was in the warmer. She didn't tell me the total of our lunch but was quick to make sure the tip screen was displayed. Also, didn’t say thanks or anything that would expect when ordering from a restaurant. The oxtails had more fat than meat on them. The food was flavored nicely and the cabbage wasn’t hard like I saw in a previous review. We definitely won’t be back. There are too many other Jamaican spots in KC to return to be treated rudely.

I was extremely disappointed I've been here many times and it use to be my favorite place for beef patties since moving to Kansas city but when I went in today I left very unhappy. The young lady working the register has an attitude just upon you entering the door and even worse my food was MOLDY !!!! When I went in to get a refund she didn't even say a word to me she just got someone to "deal" with it!!! I feel bad for the owner he seemed nice but when u give a disrespectful person a job it reflects on the whole business. I won't be returning.
Young lady was not inviting really. Food is losing its touch. Doesn’t seem like it authentic anymore. Just cooked with no love. It’s been missing the last couple of times on the flavor of the curry very bland.

Can I just say this place is true Jamaican delights! The best in the city! The family is amazing and friendly. Food is always amazing. I've been going out of my way for years to stop by for some curry goat. This is a.muat! Get you a Ting, beef patty and meal for cheap.
