Probably the best red curry I’ve ever had. So much depth of flavor. Ordered Thai hot - excellent amount of heat that did not overwhelm any flavors. Can’t wait to go back for another dish. Highly recommend!

I had no idea this place existed until yesterday. I was looking on Google Maps to figure out where to meet a friend for lunch, and I noticed at RC's there was also a new Thai place. It turns out they converted their second story bar into a Thai restaurant. However, if you're walking into it for the first time, it won't look like what you might think it would. The upstairs still looks exactly like the old RC's bar down to the countertops and pool tables. That isn't a mark against the place, but be prepared to not be greeted by what you might imagine a Thai place would look like (i.e. Thai House on Holmes Rd).That being said, the service was decent, and the server even brought a complimentary four-piece rangoon with dipping sauce. I didn't call it crab rangoon because if you read the appetizer menu where it says crab rangoon, the description explicitly says "no crab". My main dish was their Pad Thai with pork. The portion and quality were pretty good for the price. The only thing I wish they did differently was offer a choice of spiciness. At most Thai places you can go with not spicy at all to "Thai hot" (what I go for), but here there was one level of spice, and spicy it was not. At least the food still tasted good.Minor gripes aside, this place is still worth trying if you're in the neighborhood.

If you are closes to the Martin City you have to check this amazing place! The food is so good! If you know the old RC arcade upstairs just walk through the back door on the second floor! The servers here are so sweet and welcoming, specially Milan! This week was kind of empty but we enjoyed the quietness today now don't be fooled cause this is super cool spot to hang out on Friday and Saturday with a live band! Come on over for the food and stay for the people!!!

Food is so fresh and great tasting! Just don't judge a book with this one as it isn't what you expect ambiance wise. It is located in the bar upstairs from RC's. Five starts for the food though! Very reasonably priced. Friendly staff.

Really amazing staff and food!! While we didn't play any of the games or take advantage of the bar, it look really fun. A lot of TVs too. Not your typical Thai place. Crab Rangoon, Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles were the best in town!!! My mom really enjoyed the pineapple fried rice. We will be back for sure to try the curries.

The food here is mediocre at best. I ordered medium pad Thai exactly as I order it every Thai restaurant I ever go to. So I have a wide scope of comparison. There was absolutely zero spice to this. I had to do heavily season it with red pepper flakes to give it a flavor beyond greasy fast food sauce. I will say the serving size was quite generous and one portion that was very well priced could easily feed a family of three to four. But this is a case of the price indicating the quality of food you will get. It was bland and tasted like I could have gotten it out of a cafeteria. The atmosphere is nothing to speak of. The furniture it looked like uncomfortable partial wrought iron. And a wall of TVs completes the atmosphere. The service here was atrocious. I did go on a Friday night, but they were far from packed and there were no DoorDash orders on the card awaiting pickup. There's really no justification for the terrible service. I used the online ordering offered directly from the restaurant to place it to go order to grab after happy hour with a co-worker nearby. I place the order fully knowing that my arrival time was flexible and that I would be there within 30 minutes to an hour after my schedule at the time. I arrived and could not get any service for a long period of time. After finally getting The bartender is attention she said that DoorDash orders were on the door dash cart. I said I didn't order DoorDash but ordered through them so she vaguely gestured to a server on the other side of the room and said she would help me. I waited for much longer time and then finally got that server's attention. She could also not locate my order and finally went in the back where I could over here her rudely Zane that I was 40 minutes late. So I guess this is a place where you have to be on time to pick up your food regardless of the fact that you paid for it and are perfectly fine with it not being hot. Moreover, I would hesitate to order a drink from the bar here. Due to my extended weight, I saw a considerable amount of consternation being made over a basic rum and coke.

Interesting twist to what once was a dedicated recreational bar for RC’s Chicken upstairs, this Thai restaurant has potential. Stemming from adjacent owned Thai House, the vibe incorporates the old bar and recreational hall with Thai fusion food. Food was ok- the noodles lacked in flavor that Thai food is known to have. Service was sub-par, requiring us to locate our own seats (while servers just stood around chatting), waiting 7 mins before being approached for drink orders (mind-you they had been open for 56 mins and two tables were waiting the rest of their party to arrive. We had to ask for refills and even then, took a while to make its way back to the table. Standard sauces for pho had to be requested and server wasn’t sure if it was offered upon our request. The atmosphere is very social, as the hall filled up with patrons, kids enjoyed their time running around, while adults mingled; sports tv played on the screens and pool tables and dart boards allow for pre/post meal leisure. There seems to be potential live music as there is a stage that allows for that. With additional refinements to processes and a clear definition of what this restaurants wants to be- it can make a name for itself as it enters as an option for Thai dining in SKC.

This restaurant is incredible!! It has a great vibe, casual and comfortable with nice tables. The live musician is wonderful, and the staff were warm, informative, and thoughtful. They had great recommendations on appetizers, the Thai Spicy Sausage was devoured before a photo could be taken!! Our meal also came with complimentary crab Rangoon for the table as an appetizer! That was unexpected and a nice touch. Our entrees were both delicious, saucy and flavorful. We couldn't stop raving to each other about how good it was with each bite. The veggies were so fresh and perfectly cooked. We were both easily able to make substitutions/additions to certain vegetables to suit our preferences. Although we had enough of our entrees left over for an entire second meal, we had to try the mango sticky rice and it did not disappoint! The warm rice and fresh sweet cool mango were the perfect combination. Everything was top notch and for a great price! We will be coming back here ASAP and have told all of our friends!! You cannot miss out on Rockin' Wok. Best, freshest, friendliest Thai food in KC!!!

Located right upstairs at RC’s (you can walk in through the front door and then take the stairs to your right), Rockin’ Wok Thai is kickin it with their adventurous, rec-room approach to thai food! The food was amazing, servers super kind, and portion sizes really generous for the price. Will definitely be coming back!Kid-friendliness: High chairs and kiddie cups
