Very good!. Ordered Hibachi steak with fried rice. Steak portion was generous and well cooked. and the fried rice was excellent. (light and not greasy) Onion soup was also tasty. Not cheap, but not too expensive.

I really wanted some crab Rangoon and the reviews for this place were decent. I did takeout. I placed my order on the website. I ordered the crab Rangoon, chicken egg rolls, and sweet & sour chicken with lo mein. I was very disappointed in the quality of this food. It’s totally overpriced. The sweet & sour chicken was nothing special. I’ve definitely had better. Same for the crab Rangoon, lo mein, and chicken egg rolls . The sweet & sour sauce was super liquid-y/runny. Before ordering, I told myself that I would go back and get the sushi, but that’s a NO now! This was a total waste of $39.00!

Very tasty, I had their curry and the chicken was very tender. Fresh veggies too. Our server Savannah was very kind.

We've been/order togo here frequently over the years since opening, and the quality has gone down significantly while the prices have gone up. Tea had a funny taste, wonton soup tasted watery, and the inside looks neglected. I'm afraid we won't return or order to go from here anymore. We will try somewhere else.

Sushi rolls taste very good and fresh. The teriyaki sauce, broccoli, chicken and white rice are very tasty. The crab rangoon is very full with crab. I also love the spicy crab salad, has the perfect crunch in it.

Our first time here and it is absolutely delicious! My husband did the shrimp hibachi and I did the orange peel chicken oh my God it is so good! The eggrolls are small and very flavorful. I would much rather have small eggrolls with flavor and great big huge ones only filled full of cabbage. We did not like the sweet and sour sauce but the orange pill chicken sauce was absolutely fabulous!

This was the first time I've eaten here. My daughter loves sushi, especially on her birthday. Overall, the experience was good. Like so many other businesses, they were under staffed and so our waiter was in and out pretty quick since he had so many tables. Half of their diningroom looked like a storage area. Also, I was looking forward to getting her the comlimentary Birthday Ice Cream and singing to her with the staff. Unfortunately, the complimentary ice cream had been discontinued for a while now but was still on the menu.

Parking: Lots of open parking, even in the lot next door where there used to be an IHOP.

Dietary restrictions: They happily substituted the Tempura Shrimp with steamed shrimp. $1 more but worth it.

Ordered the Blue crab roll. Pretty tasty and good amount of real blue crab.

Chicken teriyaki showed up looking like grilled chicken in a soup broth. I ordered 3 sushi rolls...2 of them had crab mixed with WAY too much mayonnaise mixed with it. Sushi didn't taste fresh at all. You usually never disappoint Saki...but for $100+ ?? I will give it another chance but will never do delivery again.

This is our favorite dinner spot. The owner is always so nice and friendly. The tiger roll is my favorite and my wife loves the drunken noodle with chicken.

Fantastic food. I've been to this restaurant several times for sushi and have never had a bad experience. The staff has always been pleasant and the food is consistently well prepared. Definitely a go to place for sushi in KCMO.

Absolutely wonderful. The sushi is amazing. If I lived closer I would be there for dinner often. ?

The meal was very good. I had the sushi/Sashimi plate and the sashimi portions were of high quality and generous in size. In fact I couldn't finish my lunch. However, I went in for lunch and was the only customer. Very odd experience. They stated that most of their business comes at dinner. That could be because they didn't really have any lunch specials to bring in the lunch croud. Only the one menu as far as I could tellOverall I would definitely go back

I really want to give it a 4, but I can’t get past the “filth”. I’ve been a regular at this restaurant for 5-years. The tables continue to get stickier each visit — so much so that the menu got “stuck” to the table. When you go to the restroom, your feet stick to the floor. One of the menus was actually falling apart. They have a bunch of supplies and chairs stacked up in customer view towards the restrooms. All that being said, the service is outstanding. The server is attentive. The food was brought out quickly. There was perfect timing between appetizers and main course. The table was bussed appropriately. We were greeted and seated immediately, even with other guests that entered at the same time. 5-star service. The food. With exception of the crunchies being super stale for the egg drop soup, everything was fantastic. We had egg drop soup for 2 — it was as fantastic as always— there is actually enough for 4 — we had some to take home. They have a nice twist adding shrimp and chicken. I always get the blue crab roll with a generous portion of real crab on top. My daughter had the caterpillar roll, which she very much enjoyed. That roll is not for me — too sweet. It was decorated as a caterpillar with sweet cherries for eyes and eel skin tail, lol. It had a sweet sauce that went well with cream cheese. She loved it, just not for me. Value — I’d have to give it a 2 for my roll — $17.95 is pretty steep for the quality for a single roll. At that price, you might expect “lump” crab meat. I’m pretty sure it’s tiny shreds or canned crab meat — it’s definitely real, not Polock. I don’t think I’ll be going back for a while. Dinner for two with 25% tip was $90. At that price, the service was great, but the cleanliness and stale crunchies were a big turn-off. We did have the spring roll appetizer, 2-rolls, and egg drop soup. The spring roll was fantastic, but the peanut sauce was thick and chunky (unappetizing).

I’m a little ashamed that it has taken me this long to write a review for Saki. Ever since it opened, it has been my husband and I’s favorite sushi restaurant in all of KC! Highly recommend the Phoenix, lucky dragon, and spicy shrimp rolls—we have to get them every time we go. Also don’t sleep on the crab wontons for an appetizer, they are stuffed FULL and so delicious!
