Place is super cute and the food is amazing. The sweet lady running the place does a good job and the food always comes out fast and accurate and tasting great. One of the best ramen restaurants in KC.

Food was very bland. Ordered the salmon rice balls which are great if you enjoy eating rice with soy sauce. They had very little salmon in them and were bland overall. I expected more for the price. Also ordered the miso soup which was very bland and watered down. The place is very clean and decorated nicely though. No tap water. You have to buy bottles of water.

If I could leave zero stars I would. The owner saw us coming and simply opened the door and said I’m fully booked today. It was 6 pm on a Wednesday… with several open tables inside. Will not be returning

I have been going here for lunch for some months now and I absolutely love it. The food always has good flavor and to contradict the other comment of price; if you want cheap ramen go to the dollar tree because this is good quality ramen and food and I do not mind paying for that. The person who takes my order now remembers me and my order i appreciate her friendly greeting each time. I recommend this place to everyone.

The food wasn’t bad, but the blatant racism was. I watched a woman of color and her child be told at the door that there was a 45 minute wait and the kitchen was backed up. Inside the restaurant only 3 tables were taken. Another black man was turned away at the door as well. Then a white couple walked to the door and were welcomed in. Would not recommend supporting this business.

I was definitely not amazed by the food…
There are other places with a lot better food of this kind… Even the grocery stores have a selection of this types of food…
The decoration of this place is super cute and unique.
Staff was professional and attentive.

The food is good. Lady who runs it keeps denying entry but doesn’t have anything posted about reservations. Also was going to give me a reservation until I said I had a baby then switched up and said they were fully booked.

Maybe I was just here on a really bad day, but I can’t understand how this place is over 4 stars. Everything in the bento box I ordered was mediocre, wouldn’t recommend this to anybody as there are much better options in town.

Decent meal, albeit a bit overpriced for the quality and quantity. 50 dollar bill for two entrees, and an appetizer. They do not provide free water, but the staff was kind. Probably wouldn’t consider ever returning unfortunately.
Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options as one would except from a Japanese eatery.
