My fiance and I ordered the bacon and the chorizo burritos with earl grey tea and an iced mocha. The coffee was good, the tea wasn't steeped correctly and my fiance had to ask for a new one. They said they steep them according to a timer. The tea was clear with no color. After a while we got another tea and had the same problem. The barista had an attitude when she dropped the tea off. The burritos were ok, the chorizo costed more than the bacon but was half the size. Wasn't worth the $30 we spent, we wont be back.

Staff is genuinely kind, the coffee is good, and so is the food. I absolutely love that they make their syrups in house. My only complaint is that I wish they were open later 😂 would recommend!!

I have never been inside this restaurant, I get my hair done next door, and sometimes I get there early and wait, and as I wait I see people coming in and out. All kinds of people, young, old, black white, Asian, etc. With tattoos, or no tattoos. I love the look, it gives me New York Vibes! Though I'll share that!

I was in the south part of Ward parkway and was needing a coffee so I googled coffee shops nearby (no to chains!) and this one popped up as close by and with good reviews and an interesting name. Headed that way and went inside. I ordered my usual; latte, extra hot, and a cheddar and chive scone. Both were great! It made my day. And they're humble, thus the name. Or so they said... Great place!

Second best coffee begs the question who is the best coffee roaster. Bears paul g attention to what they find first best. Frankly I find their coffee to be the best for miles around. The breakfast burrito to be amazingly good and the baristas to be smiling happy and alive.

Second Best Coffee is a haven on Wornall. A Waldo staple only getting better with time. Their pastry selection is perfect and well priced. Their coffee is prepared well and quickly and their atmosphere is quiet, yet vibrant. Supporting a local business full of queer folks means a lot in these times, and my wife and I are proud that we have a visible place to just be. Un
I love this place. The staff was incredibly kind. The coffee is so so good, they have some pretty unique drinks here. Lot's of intolerant/allergy friendly options as well. Lot's of seating inside as well. Absolutely recommend this place

First time here and was welcomed with such warmth and genuine hospitality. Registered for the Gay walk supporting Trans. Had a fabulous time. Danny was our walking Leader. He did fabulous, no one got lost or kidnapped by aliens.

Coffee beans are perfect. Owners and staff are always friendly and make great coffee. Dog bowl outside is always appreciated for our 4 legged friends. Great little local spot to enjoy good coffee and peaceful surroundings.
