It was time for such a place. I ordered some head tacos (the sauce is the way my mom made it!) and I couldn't leave without trying a pambaso!! The woman who served us was courteous and attentive. The murals weave me memories of my childhood. See you soon !!!!

Senor Jalapeno's taqueria is a recent addition to SW Blvd. located just a block from the stateline on the Missouri side, it exudes street cred by being between a tattoo parlor and a dispensary. The interior is bright, clean and inked with cartoonish wall portraits. The menu is large with all the standard offerings, yet annoyingly does not contain the prices for items. I went with the quesaberria tacos and waited about 20 minutes for them to be delivered to my table after ordering at the counter. The longish wait was well worth it. The platter of three perfectly grilled tortillas were overflowing with succulent tender and juicy beef, onions and cilantro. The large side cup of consomme could be considered a stew because of the generous amount of beef in the flavorful broth - easily enough to make a 4th taco! My new favorite quesaberria spot. Excellente'!
