Was pleasantly surprised to find this place. The mooncake sign caught my attention and made it feel like a little piece of home. I currently live in Wichita, KS but originally from LA. Growing up in a Chinese family this totally made my day. I had the lotus seed paste flavor mooncake with green tea. Would come back if I'm in the area to try their red bean paste one. Owner was very friendly and welcoming ?

Really nice tea shop. The teas were good and not too hot when served. The moon cakes were very nice, I would get tea and a moon cake again.

A must go if you visit Crown Center. The owner and staff are so kind and welcoming. The moon cakes are sooo delicious and I haven’t stopped thinking about them! I also bought a rainbow jade bracelet from there on a whim and it’s now my favorite thing. Definitely check this place out! Can’t wait to go back to try more on their menu!

I wish there was a Shang's Tea House where I live. This is conveniently located in Crown Center. It's one of the first shops you'll see in the hallway connecting the Westin to the shopping center. I enjoyed the authentic Chinese tea and mooncakes made in-house. The shop also sells tea sets and traditional Chinese jewelry. This is a great addition to the mall and it made my stay at the Westin more enjoyable. I bought the pineapple mooncake and lotus seed mooncake and they held up well on the flight back home. Highly recommended for snacks and souvenirs that can be easily packed in your carry-on.

Fine selection and excellent service. The tea sampler was also a good option since I wanted to try multiple for a bargain.

This place is a staple for me and my wife. The moon cakes are always SO good! Unbelievably kind staff and owner! The holiday special gingerbread was surprisingly delicious! Although, we should have known they perfected it.

I’ve always wanted to try a moon cake but with gluten and dairy allergies so far that hasn’t been possible. This tea house offers a gluten free vegan moon cake and it did not disappoint, it was so good! I’m so happy to have found this little gem. The teas were super high quality, the were extremely enjoyable despite being entirely unsweetened. The shopping here was so unique as well. The staff were extremely friendly and welcomingVegetarian options: The moon cakes are veganDietary restrictions: They offer a gluten free moon cake

This is definitely a hidden gem! They have so many different types of tea, and all of it is grown from their land in China! They also sell teaware, Chinese art, and (my favorite) mooncakes. Everyone who worked there was so nice and helpful, especially Mr. Shang himself. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful too. I will definitely be back!Dietary restrictions: The mooncakes are gluten-free!

Shang's is the real deal, super fine Chinese white tea. We were in KC for a horse show and something drew me to search the area for "tea houses". Shang's popped up and I said, "we gotta go!". I am a mega tea snob and holy moly this tea impressed me. VERY FINE quality, delicious tea. I smile when I drink these teas because it's a cup of happiness!

This place is soooo calming! My 2.5 year old got the lotus moon cake and loved it. It had a little bit of a peanut butter flavor and although he was unsure by the look at first once he tasted it he was sold! We also got two teas. Both were full of flavor and the people serving were so kind. As a mom of little kids a quite zen place was heaven!
