My boyfriend and I went here for the Christmas pop up bar scheduled at 6pm for one hour. Our server was not very attentive but we were able to get two drinks each in our one hour time frame. We spent over $80: A bouncer in camo came over and tried to take my boyfriend’s drink: and he was like oh I’m not finished. Then a woman came up and said that our reservation was up and we can finish our drink at the bar: we got up and I finished my drink: I went to the bathroom and my boyfriend was waiting for me looking at his phone. The bouncer in camo came up to him and got in his face and said “weren’t you asked to leave” he said yeah I’m waiting for my girlfriend in the bathroom. Then he said you need to leave very aggressively. We also paid $30 in parking at p&l to have a horrible time here and not that great of a pop up bar with very aggressive staff . I would never go here again. Do not waste you time on their pop up bar and the staff is rude and aggressive for no reason.

Unbelievable experience from start to finish. From the front entrance staff (Hayley) to the manager drinking alcohol, the level of dishonesty and irresponsibility in handling customer property is shocking. A friend of ours lost a set of car keys, and when we returned to ask about them, Hayley immediately described them in detail—even mentioning they were dealership keys—and said she had turned them in to the RSC Management Lost & Found.
When we contacted RSC, the manager there confirmed that no such keys had ever been received. Naturally, we went back to Sharky’s for answers, but instead of accountability, we got excuses. The manager seemed confused about their own procedures and even admitted that misplaced keys are sometimes given to whoever claims them, without verification. That’s a major safety issue for customers.
What’s worse is how carelessly both Hayley and the manager handled the situation, avoiding responsibility at every turn. Whether they lost or mishandled the keys, it’s clear that customer safety means very little to them. It’s disturbing that a business like Sharky’s operates with such disregard for honesty and for the security of its guests. Shark Bar owner/s should check their employees and business compliance.

Always a fun time at Shark Bar, especially after a concert or event in PNL. The music and dance floor are great, but the real highlight is Abbey behind the bar. She’s so friendly and personable, even when it’s slammed — seriously one of the best bartenders around. She makes the whole experience that much better!

You want a good vibe with amazing bartenders and a rocking fire manager? This is the place to be. The variety of music and different themes is so cool. I will forever love this bar and always recommend this place. My friends and i will continue to go here like it’s our second job. Just wanted to name a few bartenders Abbey, Alyssa, Hannah, kate, Kyleigh. These are the people to look for bc they bring all the vibes. Thank you Zack for always making our nights so fun :))

I typically only come here when there are deals on drinks due to such expensive prices, but there is so much inconsistency. on nights when they do have deals, the bartenders always have no clue what’s going on. it’s always “wait what?” or “let me go ask my manager 🤪” when i’m literally showing them my phone with the shark bar page pulled up with the deals of the day. However, me and group of my friends came last weekend for 816 day when everything was half off including cover. All we ordered were well drinks, and the price was different every single time. the first time we knew something wasn’t right was when my friend ordered a double vodka cran, and was charged $15. I showed her the receipt and said “thought it was half off tonight?” she said “he got a double” i let it slide at first, but then had a realization of, wait, is a double usually THIRTY DOLLARS then? no. so i asked another bar tender after a while and she was confused why that happened. through the night, i bought a few more drinks, and each time it was a different price. one time it was $8, another time $10, another time $12 or $7. I don’t know what’s going on with the girls at the bar. if they’re clueless, pocketing money, or what, but nobody ever seems to know what they’re doing there.

Better off just dropping your money on the ground. 10$ cover for the same old songs, no requests, no live music, and noooooo one dancing. This place is not it. A refund would be appreciated. Especially considering that they stopped charging cover later that night.

The staff member, couldn’t get her name but come on, if you don’t like like your job “LEAVE” no need to ruin other people’s night… was blatantly racist. The drinks were watered down, and after five years of experience in Kansas City going to P&L, I would give this place 0 rating if I could. While we were in the bathroom washing our hands and taking pictures, a staff member came in and aggressively told us, "You guys have to get out right now as we have to clean" It was incredibly rude.Could’ve said it in nicer way. I spoke with the manager, who initially seemed friendly, but then he kept following us around for no reason. The whole experience was just terrible.
