There is a second bar that opens on busy nights by the dance floor, a pool table for slower nights, and lots of dart boards for either. Bartenders are personable, owner is present often, and the music varies depending on the crowd.

This bar is one of our favorites. It's a chill, laid back place to get a drink and have a good time. It has loyal regular customes and we have always felt welcomed here. They have drag shows from time to time, poker nights, dart nights and also has a pool table. It is a cash only place but they have an ATM if needed. Go and have a drink there you'll enjoy it.

I love Sidekick’s Saloon! Established in 1990 this is Kansas City’s oldest Gay Bar! Their drinks are strong and extremely economical, 15% cheaper than Woody’s and 25% than Missie B’s. They have great music whether DJ’d or their playlists, and amazing movies! They have darts and pool, with live shows, including an amateur drag show on Thursdays. This is a welcoming place, where Kerry, Devin and Joe, all of the bartenders will go out of their way to make you feel welcome! :)

This is my home bar! ? they welcomed me the moment I moved to Kansas City and I have made a little family there. The drinks are the cheapest in the Kansas City area and they have HEAVY hands when pouring that alcohol! $2 vodka lemonades are gonna make an alcoholic out of me I swear ? not really haha. They have nights where it’s packed out if you like that and they also have nights where it’s just you and a few others. So if you don’t like large crowds you can find some peace here or if you do like large crowds Saturday Latino night is a hit! They have Dart tournaments and a beautiful pool table! The outside patio has been updated and you can now safely smoke and drink while keeping an eye on the parking lot if you need to! They have consistent hours of operation and decent music! Sending my love to the sidekicks family!
