Damn good cupcakes!
I just stopped by to get some sweet treats for the family while we’d be home with the bad weather. The door was locked but the owner/ manager? came the door and apologized that they closed early because of the weather and then offered me a small sample pack of cupcakes on the house and offered her safe blessings for traveling in the bad weather. Unexpectedly sweet! My first time here and definitely not my last. It’s the little kind, personal things like this that inspire us all to pass it on ☺️ Thank you!!!!

Cute little small business, but they don’t wear gloves when handing you your cupcakes so it makes me wonder when they make them. Do they have gloves on or hair nets turn off.

Twice I have ordered mini cupcakes for a party and twice it has been a homerun. The size is perfect for party with multiple choices for sweets and the various flavors means they can stand alone as the dessert option too. Lots of compliments from guests!
Red Velvet is really good but the Wedding Cake has an off-putting icing flavor. It doesn't need almond cake and almond icing. Also I wish they'd have a regular white cake with regular buttercream instead of a bunch of sprinkles. The wedding cake with simple buttercream would be delicious.

Yes, I used my hubby’s light box because these delectable yummy treats were more deserving than being subjected to my iPhones lacking capabilities in capturing the beauty behind a lens. With that being said…I’ve been hooked on Smallcakes for over ten years. When family members birthdays come around, I pick-up a pack and take it to them because you feel that special when you eat them! They’re not only tastey but aesthetically beautiful to the eye as well. What’s the difference between 64th st Smallcakes compared to all of the rest locations you might ask.?. The owner. She’s putting her heart into these cupcakes. Literally the one who’s making your cupcakes for you, every single morning. So even though it’s a chain, you have the heart of a local baker behind the scenes, who truly loves what they do. It shows in the end result. Trust me, you can taste the passion behind these cupcakes.Let’s not forget the employees that represent the owner, including their passion and work ethics. When employees stay and are happy behind the counter- it’s a reflection of how they’re being treated on the other side of the counter. It’s a reflection of the person who’s showing them the standards of what they expect from their employees- by leading by example.Also, the owner of this location, takes her skills above and beyond cupcakes. I was treated to an amazing cookie while picking up my order of cupcakes for my Daughters Birthday celebration. I’ve included it in my photos but it’s not currently on the menu. It was a test run but look out Crumble Cookies, these will take you off of the map trend! My entire family each took a bite and we ALL loved it! (We are not fans of Crumble cookies so I was skeptical in trying it. So happy I did!) Phenomenal! Thanks Smallcakes, for allowing me to try it by being there at the right time! They have treats for you pups! Need a cake.?. Going above and beyond the standard menu sets this store apart from all of the rest.

Cupcakes were OK. The lady working with red hair was extremely rude and the store was dingy and dirty looking. Kind of shocking actually considering the location. Prices were way too steep for the quality of product.

Incredible customer service! We had a pick up scheduled for a day with less than ideal winter weather and the manager proactively called to say they would be open and still fulfill our order. Then when snow day chaos ensued with two little kids she was completely empathetic when I had to pick up later than they had planned to be open - and even offered to deliver! Really impressed, didn’t even matter how the cupcakes turned out (but the came out great too!), we will absolutely order from here again.

I’m currently pregnant and craving cupcakes but I didn’t want a store bought. I drove 45 minutes to get the Wedding Cake and Red Velvet and It was definitely worth the drive! Moist. Sweet but not too sweet. And they are hefty
