We were in from Virginia and decided to go by Smaxx after going to the Negro Baseball Museum. The food, atmosphere, and interactions with the managers and customers were awesome. We definitely loved the Chicken Chop Sub, talking with Uncle Mike, and sharing my brisket from Chucky's Barbecue.

I ordered ahead and when I got to the restaurant there was one person in line ahead of me. We both stood there for about 15 minutes before anyone ever acknowledged us. One guy finally said I think the cashier is on break. It might be another 20 minutes before he comes out. The cashier came out. He said he had been in the restroom and he had the worst attitude. He wasn’t apologetic and I asked if my food was even ready he said yeah your wings are ready and I noticed that the wings were done, but was just sitting there over the grease. Long story short, very nasty attitude will not go back there. The other customer walked out.
