We were in from Virginia and decided to go by Smaxx after going to the Negro Baseball Museum. The food, atmosphere, and interactions with the managers and customers were awesome. We definitely loved the Chicken Chop Sub, talking with Uncle Mike, and sharing my brisket from Chucky's Barbecue.
Food is tasty, I just wish the actual service was better as far as consistency in food offerings/recipes, and actually communicating with the customer. Food is a bit overpriced, but again, good. Even moreso when it's consistent and they actually communicate- you may get fries one day, tots the next time and nothing the time after that, ECT. They will frequently swap things out without even asking or checking even when they have your number included with your order. I called...
