Ordered the fried catfish with green beans and greens. Everything was hot except the greens. My husband ordered the red beans and rice with catfish. His fish was hot, but the red beans and rice were cold. I'm sure the greens, rice and beans were in a warmer in the back but that temp should be checked often. Now our cocktails were nice. The make a good "long Island sweet tea" and "old fashion" were good. Our server was nice, a lil inattentive, and the other people in there were nice as well.

The food was excellent, and our server was great! The problem is it took an hour and ten minutes to get our food after we got there. It was not busy, just a poor management team too busy walking around talking to guests instead of helping the understaffed crew. Also time is wine on the menu. Then we were told by a very obviously embarrassed server that the first six different kinds we tried to order were out. Another sign of poor management. So much potential, wasted!

The service I never got to try the food ! Just ghetto went for a quick bite of oysters on break and the bartender gave me owner vibes, told me they opened back up at 2pm it was around 230 and literally said “I hope you coming to drink and eat” I had to tell her “ I don’t even drink” because how dare you and I love liquor lol went to the restroom came back out and she told me we don’t have oysters either I’m just the bartender I was like you know what’s thank you, mind you me and my homegirl was the only ones in for service with that being said they don’t have oysters and I was mad like yall gone just let the money walk out of here huh ? okay selective menu bye ✌️

Hands down best steak dinner for $18 in KC! The menu has Nawleans influence, if you appreciate a creole plate- this needs to be on your list! Servers were attentive and the bar tender even went out of her way to check on us. The staff made it evident that they care about the quality of the food, drinks, and the experience. Cocktails were excellent!

We googled seafood and Soiree came up. So happy we went! The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great, and I felt like the staff went above and beyond. We showed up when there was a live DJ so it was a little loud, but we decided to stick around and the music was great and the food was even better!! Ended up getting a grilled salmon with some salmon bites, and the breading was the best breading I've ever had on fish!! The rice was also very unique and very tasty! The staff made me feel welcome and they helped me celebrate my birthday. I wish the owner and staff success as this place was so amazing. Highly recommend anyone coming here!!

Best Sunday funday in the vine district. Early arrival highly recommended. Food is decent…had the steak which was ?. Got substituted different sides other than what the menu entailed but still was good. Hot spot for locals.

Wish I could give service a 6. The young man who served us was so gracious and helpful. Wonderful food- fried green tomatoes with inventive toppings, not-your-everyday Cobb salad, and a killer fried chicken sandwich. Yum!But be careful about parking across the street. Some break ins even in broad daylight.
