Chef Anita came out to greet us as well!!Wheelchair accessibility: I'm a Paraplegic and the location doesn't have a door opener for wheelchair accessibility. The building is city owned, and in the Jazz District, you'd think the city would make their real estate accessible! That part was a disappointment.

The green salad was brought to us 10 minutes "after we had started eating the entree, this was unusual, collards green was fine seasoning but way too salty to enjoy so took home and rinsed with purified water then ate tasty they were indeed, red beans rice was good seasoned but too salty, French fries was a bit mush undercooked (as the cooks prolly rushing I know bcz I've been a line cook) and too salty, frie catfish was good though one or two pieces a bit undercooked mushy instead of krunchy as cooks prolly in a rush to fill orders so I just take home in oven to crisp up, no problem, and fried oysters were very awesome , great dip sauce, servers were very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, presentations of the various food items by altogether 4 different servers was indeed theatrical and admirable, wonder ful atmosphere to dine, great artwork all over.

The food could have definitely been better, I got the smoked wings and they weren't smoked it was more of a naked fried type and they were just ok. It's says you can get them in a sauce of your choice but then it comes out naked with sauce on the side. The server was really young so I'll give her the benefit of the doubt but overall it's a 6/10

I've tried to overlook the horrible service and support this restaurant anyway but I can no longer do that. I came back after the last time when they were lacking essential items like napkins, flatware, and straws. I came back after they were out of food options on the menu. I came back after our waitress got our order wrong and had to continue to remind her that we hadn't received our drinks, condiments, and our bill was wrong. Yesterday was the final straw for me-- I won't be back or recommend Soiree again.
