Just wanted some breakfast that wasn’t a pastry. Service was totally fine, waitress was sweet. Got avo toast for $15. You can’t call it avo toast and then put barely a hint of avocado on it. The scrambled eggs on top were cold. The “toast” was just a single slice of soggy bread. I never leave reviews because I’m not a picky eater and sometimes food is just food, but this felt necessary because this is straight up robbery. “Bread with egg” is what the menu should say. Next time I’m choosing the bagel place.
As an airport restaurant, the atmosphere and service are solid. The BBQ was disappointing. I ordered a trio of meats. The sausage was a mix, some were reasonable, some tasted more like a hotdog. The burnt ends were tasty brisket chunks but a not really burnt ends. The sliced brisket had a strong sour taste, almost like Sauerbraten.

Only serves breakfast and a limited number of other items, at prices that exceed larger airports such as Atlanta. Server looked happy someone was looking to maybe order, so they have that going for them.

Always stop by for a preflight drink. Bartenders are almost always great. Tried the breakfast sandwich. It’s a quickly put together meal but gets the job done. Prices are airport high.

Located within the MCI airport, this BBQ and brewery combo can be good. Brisket was good but not the best I've had in my life and the prices are pretty high. A decent option if you want BBQ in the airport.

Food and service both were great! Came out really quick and tasted amazing! The dirty Mac and cheese and loaded nachos were both great!!!

Temper your expectations. This is food after security at an airport. Is it expensive? Yes, it is. But is it good? No, it is not. But do they make it up with friendly service? Absolutely not.
But they do serve food.

Ordered nachos and they were cold. Waitress food them back and brought me a new plate….and they were cold. Horrible. Loved the waitress though. She was a gem. Won’t be back.

I was trying to get some rest and have a good breakfast at MCI Airport in Kansas City before my flight. Unfortunately, the bartender named Anna told me I needed to sit in a different section (maybe because I was alone, but she didn't say anything when a group of four people arrived). This person is only accepting large groups to get a bigger tip. This person was rude and just yelled at me from the bar. These types of people shouldn't work in a public place like the Kansas City Airport. I think the owners should check their employees' qualifications and provide them with proper customer service training. Good luck if you decide to eat at this restaurant. THIS IS SO SAD FOR ANY BUSINESS…….

Definitely didn’t have an airport vibe or taste! Wow!! We shared the burnt end sausage breakfast sandwich with potatoes (super flavorful) and had mimosas too. Great spot!

Went in to look at the menu and decided to have a beer. I should’ve taken the “fruit flies” buzzing around the bar & beer taps as my warning to leave but I stayed. I noticed a couple ladies that had barely touched their burnt end plates so I asked them if the food was any good and they both said yes. With that in mind, I ordered a Mac n cheese side and it came out cold, not even room temp warm, so that was the icing on top and i left. They did take the Mac n cheese off the bill without me asking so that was good of them but I would not try this place again.

Easily the worst bbq experience I’ve ever had. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Brisket was horrible. Spent $31 for a brisket sandwich and a drink. Will not be going back
