Strang Chef Collective at Lightwell

Pretty disappointing, as I really like the main location. Waited for a few minutes to get service, which normally I would be pretty forgiving of. But the food was no bueno. I had the steak sandwich and it was pretty bland. Not very much sauce and the steak was under seasoned and tough. Bread was not toasted, but that might be standard so I cant really take off for that.

But then my fries had a hair in it. Super bummer for a 22 dollar meal.

My Cuban rice did not come with mango, fried plantain or onions as shown in the photo! It did not have the ingredients listed in the description. The taste was good, but I was a little disappointed by the different presentation than what they show on the menu and the lack of ingredients!
I have tried many things on the menu and I expected more from this dish.

Everything gets a five star. The food was delicious And customer service was the best I’ve seen in a while. The atmosphere was perfect. My daughter celebrated her 17th birthday on the patio and Haiden at the bar took great care of us getting our tables together and making sure we were good. We purchased $20 gift cards for all of my daughter’s friends so they could purchase their meals and he made sure everything went smooth. One of the chefs with the beautiful eyes even checked on us, we chatted about the desserts. We tried all 3 and they were all amazing. The drinks were fantastic as well . This place is surely a great spot for all ages but my sister and I really was able to VIBE once the kids left. We made new friends by the firepit . ????

We had a group of 15 and the experience working with the team at Strang Chef was fantastic. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. I'd happily go their again and recommend it for others too.

It is an interesting concept, but it needs some work. When you enter the place, it feels like you will have an elevated experience. Then, the service, price and experience are like a food court. Chefs put effort into creating good dishes with great quality ingredients, but some of them are not well thought out. For instance, my dish looks great in a bowl, I cutting shrimp and a bass in a bowl is not the best eating experience. Also, one shrimp was raw, I have to put it out.

The pimento BLT. What can I say. I would get it at least 3 times a week. Always tipped 20% on pickup because the staff was very helpful and kind. The pimento BLT is the most delicious and delectable sandwich I've ever had. The bread was perfectly toasted. The lettuce was snappy. The tomato was juicy and tasted like someone just plucked it off the vine. The cheese tasted like it was freshly made just for my sandwich. This is the experience I had with each and every order. Don't even get me started on their fries.
I tried their pesto chicken sandwich. it was good but it just wasn't the same. Sadly the pimento BLT is no longer available. Try and enjoy the things you love often because they can be disappear at any moment. I think about that sandwich everyday. I hope someday. I can have it just one more time.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! Lady at counter with long dirty pink fake hair was rude smacking the counter saying we weren’t allowed in to talk to friends unless we paid and then continued to talk over us tell us that we were unwelcome the manager handled nothing voided check then continued to walk past the terrible employee after her awful attitude and obviously ignore the entire situation. LOW CLASS NO PRIDE TERRIBLE COMPANY WITH THE WORST SERVICE POSSIBLE IVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY WITH MY ENTIRE WIFE AND FAMILY TRYING TO HAVE A FUN DAY OUT
