We have gone to Stroud's for many years for family gatherings and have always had a wonderful time and gotten great service and meals. Recently, we had close friends from Australia in town for a visit and took them there for a late lunch. They couldn't quit talking about the service, the food, and the size of the servings. A special thank you to our server, Jamie, who was a hit with everyone.

My family has been going to Stroud's my entire life - I love that it never changes, everything is familiar and comforting. We sat at the bar while we waited for everyone to get there. The bartender working was great - he was so fun, very laid back, and didn't know a stranger!

Once at the table, we met our server Jamie - She was AMAZING! She was completely on top of things, she was quick, and she was so fun! My dad is a goofball and Jamie played off him perfectly. We had a group of 9 or 10 and she was incredible the whole time!

If you’re wanting a “grandmas style” dinner, THIS is your place. Holy moly. I’m fairly new to the Midwest and came here after being recommended and hooked on fried chicken. We got the pan fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Pan fried was okay, however the chicken fried- best I’ve ever had! Service was also amazing :) and prices were very reasonable for how full we got as well!

Stroud’s off Oak Ridge was a phenomenal experience. They have excellent food all around although I don’t think the chicken would’ve tasted as good if it weren’t for the exceptional service by our server Bri (without the E)

A neat old building serving lots of hungry folks. They specialize in chicken dishes, but have other items like pork chops. Cinnamon rolls are great.

Today, I called in an order for my 3 coworkers and myself. They open for lunch at 11am on Fridays, only. By the time I got there at 11:30 to pick it up, the parking lot was packed. I was able to pull off to the side by the entrance. After a 7 minute wait, they brought my food out and let me pay right there in my car. If you're dining in for lunch on a Friday, be prepared for a wait.
