Food is always on point and offerings for everyone - Staff is friendly - Hip and eclectic decor, great music, Oddly Correct coffee, & great vibes! When friends visit me in KC, taking them to Succotash is my flex ☺️Vegetarian options: You can order anything without animal protein.Vegan options are more sparse but what is offered is incredible every time! The Modern Elvis French Toast and the Vegan Sink are a staple!Dietary restrictions: Vegan, Vegetarian, and GF options!Parking: Brunch hours during the week, you’ll find plenty of street parking. Breakfast on weekends, you may have to park a block or two away.

Absolutely delicious breakfast spot in KC! I had the burrito of love, my SO had the Modern Elvis. It’s safe to say that the camera did not eat first, therefore, I wasn’t able to post pictures! Really creative take on bfast items that are delicious. If you’re a local or tourist passing through go check out this small business. It will not disappoint!

Bizarrely disgusting breakfast experience. We went on a Saturday and it was pretty full and I think the waitstaff was struggling. A few tables around us were complaining that they had been waiting 30+ minutes for their food to come out. Ours came out relatively fast but it was foul. Like, really, really bad. I ordered the vegan sink, which was ~meh~, but my husband ordered the pigs in a blanket and couldn’t eat it. The crêpes were…sour? The eggs had no flavor. & the sausage was some $2 frozen WalMart sausage. Just really, really gross. We didn’t want to complain so we just left our food on the table and ate somewhere else. A total waste of money. I wish we hadn’t been fooled by all of the five star ratings! This tasted like prison food ?

Some of the best orange juice I've had. Thought it was freshly squeezed. Staff were very accommodating.

I stumbled into Succotash this morning with the grace of a newborn giraffe on roller skates, but oh, what a stumble it was! From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was like stepping into a breakfast-themed fairy tale – complete with a prince charming named Bacon and a magical elixir known as Latte.Let’s start with the star of the show: Bacon. This bacon wasn’t just bacon; it was bacon’s hotter, cooler, more delicious cousin. Crispy yet somehow still tender, it had me questioning all my life choices that led to this moment of bacon perfection. I could practically hear it whispering sweet nothings as I devoured each heavenly strip. But wait, there’s more! Enter the pancake, a fluffy, golden disc of joy that would make Aunt Jemima herself shed a tear of envy. It was like biting into a cloud, if clouds were made of pure breakfast bliss. And the maple syrup? Oh, it flowed like a river of liquid gold, carrying me away to a syrupy utopia where all my breakfast dreams came true. And let’s not forget about the latte, the unsung hero of my morning saga. It was as if the barista had captured the essence of dawn itself and poured it into a cup. One sip, and I was ready to take on the day with the energy of a caffeinated cheetah. In conclusion, Succotash isn’t just a restaurant – it’s a breakfast revolution. With each bite and sip, I felt my soul ascending to new heights of breakfast nirvana. So if you’re in need of a morning pick-me-up that’s more magical than a unicorn riding a rainbow, look no further than Succotash. Your taste buds will thank you, and your stomach will sing with joy.

This place was absolutely terrible. I had my birthday brunch here and it sucked. The atmosphere was off, making everything feel rushed, as if they were trying to get you in and out as quickly as possible. Our waiter never introduced themselves, didn’t give enough silverware, and even asked if we wanted our table bussed (it was covered in dishes from previous people when we sat down). They assumed that we wanted to eat with the utensils that were there from previous customers. The table wasn’t even clean. The food was just average, nothing to write home about. Don’t waste your time or your money, there are definitely better options, hell McDonalds would’ve been better than this garbage. I would’ve spent that money anywhere else.

We have been wanting to try this for years now. We finally went on a weekday, not sure if something was off or if we maybe had the bar set too high. The food was good, but it wasn’t great as we’ve had at other local spots. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and super delicious.

Great breakfast when in Kansas City Missouri. We came here for the pork hash but ended up ordering most of the breakfast options and loved all of them. Some great twists on some regular breakfast staples like the pigs in a blanket and traditional breakfast sandwiches. But also some new and unique ideas for drinks like the Mexican coke with espresso. The kitchen sink was absolutely my favorite!

The cashier was very welcoming!!I’m not a oil/butter fan and everything was a bit saturated. It’s a diner so that should probably be expected, but if butter is your thing, you’ll have a blast ◡̈There is a large image on one wall of someone eating red soup and it’s spilling out of their mouth and it’s kinda icky and scared me a bit.Wheelchair accessibility: pretty tight between tables and very tight entry. There aren’t any stairs inside!!
