Good food, good staff, good environment. The seating was a little bit messy though.

Huevos rancheros were excellent. Just the right amount of heat. My only complaint is it's kind of loud when busy. Overall Awesome food & Service.Parking: Parking in front of Missy B's

Saturday morning breakfast was truly an excellent experience. The food was delicious. Everything we tried was delicious. Eggs, pancakes, hash browns, chocolate milk, coffee, everything just tasted better than you can get elsewhere. Maybe they add a touch of cinnamon to the coffee? I don't know what they do, but it was a little surprising how ordinary food and coffee just tasted slightly better here. The decor is very nice. The prices are very reasonable. The parking was even excellent and free.If you're looking to have breakfast around 8am on a Saturday, I recommend this place.

The food was okay. It was a bit cold & it took over an hour for us to get our food. I would understand if the restaurant was busy, but it wasn’t. I did empathize with the server because they did expressed they weren’t having a good day, but dang…. I really wanted another mimosa. The area & set up is

This is a Mom and Pop shop at its finest. It’s like going to your grandma’s for Sunday breakfast. The food all comes from family recipes. Everything about your dining experience is filled with TLC. I will come back again and again.

This place is going places! Very friendly people and wonderful food! Menu has a comfort listing of brunch selections to choose from. This is a quaint cafe that is accommodating to large parties as well.

I love that the genre of Southwest brunch has really picked up steam here in KC, who isn't a big fan of huevos rancheros done right? When this place was suggested to me for brunch in December, I jumped at the opportunity. The first thing you'll notice about Sunrise On 39th is the location. It's located next to Missie B's and much to my surprise had a small, but much appreciated, parking lot. It's so inconspicuous I nearly missed it! If you head here be sure to use your map and trust your gut - the signage is small, but it's there! After parking I was a bit surprised at how empty it was inside - I think from the hype I was expecting a bustling environment but it was quiet on this weekday morning. I ordered the breakfast enchiladas and they were really good! I had fruit as a side and I left feeling really satisfied. The breakfast enchiladas are not too heavy, and the flavor profile reminded me of the enchiladas I grew up with, which gave me a sense of nostalgia. I didn't get coffee or anything special to drink as I'd already had my caffeine quota for the day so I can't comment on that. Overall, I really enjoyed my brunch here - I wasn't blown away, but it was really very good and I'd absolutely return if in the area.
