The food is so good!! Everything on the buffet is delicious, and the owner is a great guy! We were absolutely stuffed when we left. I highly recommend Taj Palace.

The best thing about them was they got the order to the right pickup guy. Rice = dry. Naan = flat and oily.
Lamb was decently cooked but lacked on depth.
The tikka masala tasted as if i poured out a can of soup on the few pieces of chicken in the dish and then to forgot to add the spices as well. Terrible.
Would 100% not recommend to anyone looking for Indian in Kansas City area.
Especially at the prices they ask.

Didn’t even get a chance to eat there , just called to get a feel and get some answers I couldn’t find online. First call I got one question answered. Processed to ask another then the call got disconnected. I called backed got straight attitude and said he answered the question instead of listening for the new question I asked. Anyways for those who wanna know without having to search all over for the prices its $19-$26 per person. Happy new years eve!

The food was truly delicious, but unfortunately our experience was ruined by the way Sadder ji treated us. As an Indian dining at an Indian restaurant, I never expected to be treated with such disrespect. His behavior was extremely rude, and he showed a lot of unnecessary attitude while we were dining in. We felt ignored and uncomfortable throughout our meal.
To make matters worse, he called us to the billing counter to pay and casually apologized for not serving us properly, while at the same time giving full attention and service to other tables. This made us feel insulted and unfairly treated. Because of his poor behavior and lack of basic courtesy, we chose not to leave a tip. Instead of understanding, he questioned us about why we didn’t tip, which was very embarrassing and highly unprofessional.
Good food alone cannot make up for such disrespectful service. This experience was deeply disappointing and not what I expected from an Indian restaurant.

We ate here before seeing a play at nearby UMKC tonight and it was fantastic! The staff were friendly and fast, took great care of us. We had several dishes so we could all try a few different things and everything was cooked to perfection and delicious. The naan bread was absolutely perfect! We definitely are going to get back and try the buffet at some point! Highly recommend!

Worst buffet ever with reheated , spoiled foods and rude staring owner also how owner treats depends on your skin color if you are of certain color (white) you will be treated with hard pounding love but if you are of certain skin color (brown or darker) you’ll be entirely ignored and then humiliated in front of everyone
