We visited this place during the NCAA wrestling tournament. It was a Friday afternoon approximately 400 pm. 17 of the 32 self serve taps were empty. This was either laziness or terrible planning. Frustrating that a place that advertises itself for selection has very limited selection.

This is the place my out-of-town family always wants to go to in KC before anything downtown. They like being able to sample all the different tap beers & ciders, the many tvs showing sports, and the menu choices. The wait staff is always friendly & helpful. Conveniently located on the KC Streetcar line too!

This place has pour your own beer taps, which I would definitely recommend! Even though I didn’t do it, my friends did! They got their own little card to swipe to get beer! It's cheap to do and great for sampling a wide range of beers. When we did go to the bar, our bar tender was easy to chat with and she was fast with service. Clean place and wide range of drinks!!! I loved their margs!!!! I got lucky on parking lol it was literally in front of the business and I didn’t have to pay WOHOO!!

Very confused concept. Music is super loud so you can't really talk to people but there's no space for dancing or enjoying music. It's filled with tables but you won't be able to have a conversation without yelling.

Went for happy hour on a Friday. It's from 3-6 M-F. Brussel sprouts were Amazing!!! Also had sweet potato fries which were nice n crispy with a dusting of powdered sugar cinnamon. And chicken tenders were the bomb. Had the old fashioned to drink... Can't go wrong with that. It used buffalo trace whiskey. Park in parking lot just North of the building. Super good food. And if you're a beer drinker this is your place. You can try so many beers, you serve yourself. You get a glass and are charged by the oz . Different prices for all the beers. They ranged from .50 up to $1 per ounce depending on what ya want. They have some normal draft beers or you can buy it by the pitcher. But check out happy hour menu for sure!!!

Taps on Main is a go-to spot for my husband and I in Kansas City! It’s a fun little bar and grill and they have a nice beer selection that you can pour yourself! It brings me an absurd amount of joy that they have a bunch of little taster glasses so I can try multiple beers in one sitting without being hammered. Lol. Such a fun experience for beer lovers!

And not just cause I work there.Dietary restrictions: They avoid certain things to avoid allergic reactions.Kid-friendliness: They provide booster seats, high chairs, and kids coloring sheets. And it's a no smoking place.Wheelchair accessibility: They wheelchair accessible seating.
Only thing that would have made this experience better was if they wouldn't have had 1/3 of empty!
