Let me start by saying that I do not like to write negative reviews and I will always give a business a second or even third chance, but I'm not so sure that will be the case with this business. My daughter and I stopped in eager to try a new business and enjoy the warm, inviting space. However, the service we were greeted with was somewhat condescending and honestly rather rude. From the moment I walked in and said I am not from the area but have recently noticed the shop when dining in the area, the owner said, "that's interesting, the restaurant has only been open one year but I have been here for twenty". Forgive me, but a simple "thanks for stopping by" would have sufficed. Her attitude did not warm up much as we asked questions and were prepared to make a purchase. The prices are quite high compared to other independently owned tea shops in the area and a cold day that could've been warmed with a smile and nice conversation, was actually quite "chilly". I will be taking my business to another place next time.

My new favorite KC shop! A must visit for anyone who enjoys tea. I’m thoroughly enjoying KC Dynasty, SwifTEA and Sugar Cookie teas. Can’t wait to go back and pick out more teas!

I found the Tea Market after winning a silent auction tea pot and starter kit, at a benefit for The Sewing Labs earlier this year. I just wanted a tea pot. I was blown away what was included in the package. So of course I had to look them up on line. I watched a few of Stacie's videos and I was hooked! I've placed a few orders and see many more in my future. I ordered a birthday gift for a friend that included the starter kit, some tea and one of their cute t-shirts. My friend loved her gift, and the Tea Market hand wrote the message I sent to my friend! Over the top service. Thank you for all you do.

Love the Nite Nite Chai, Cinnamon, and Tummy Tamer! Love Crestwood Shops, and we love being neighbors!

Gracious, sincere, generous and honest. Stacie and her team offer that rare commodity in todays world - “authenticity”.

The owner was annoyed that I was shopping. She Got mad when I asked for a recommendation. She the shamed me for paying in cash saying “what do you want me to do with that, I don’t even have ones in my register” and “who the hell even uses cash” as I was going to get coins from my car because there was only $10 change in the register. Being cashless is okay, but don’t get upset if there is no way for the public to know that. It seems that is not the case though, so if you are going to take cash, be ready for it, and don’t blame me for your incompetence to keep your till stocked. If you don’t want to serve a customer, don’t be in the service industry. As far a first time experiences go, Extremely disappointing customer service. The cup to go I got was also extremely watery and weak. As somebody who’s had a very bad week, and a bad day, and was looking for a cup of tea to make them happy, I can’t help but leave more upset. Getting tea was supposed to be the fun of my day.

Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience with this store. Seller lady was pretty pushy. While I was trying to get to the herbal teas, a crowd arrived in the store, and seller lady decided to make tea examples right in front of hearbs tea. There is a poor organization of working space in this store. My suggestion is to make a special place to prepare tea samples. I left without tea being confused and very sad. Probably i will drive to another tea store even if the closest one in the leathenworth.

I got the autumn sampler and I could not be happier with the quality of the tea! They had a bunch of different bundles around $30 based on what you might like or you could buy teas individually. The teas are sorted by their beneficial effects and I honestly want to try them all! The flavors and aromas from the autumn teas are exactly what I need on these colder days. It feels good to support a local business and I have enjoyed how sweet and knowledgeable the staff has been when I go.

Great tea selection but way overpriced even for the high quality. The energy in there isn't welcoming and it should be. Browsing didn't seem ok unless you want to be pressured quickly by "so what did you decide on"? ...5 minutes after you just walked in. Since I can go to Shang Tea Company and browse for as long as I like and chat with the owner there then why go elsewhere? I can also go on Etsy and get very high quality teas from all over the world for less expensive than this. I'm not rushed on there either. If you are only catering to the upscale in terms of attitude you would be surprised at how many people don't fit into what you think your customer base should look like. I spend more on tea than on any other luxury food item or entertainment budget etc. While $25 of tea may not be much per purchase you don't know that I do that every time I get a paycheck and you also don't know who I know that I can refer to you. I don't need the highbrow so realize online businesses will crush locals unless you are offering a zen atmosphere.

I have been in tea shops in several states and have never found such a knowledgeable and friendly staff. The tea selections here are numerous and I have yet to find one I really didn’t care for. They have a selection of tea accessories that any serious tea lover would like. The store is bright and cheerful and the staff is more than willing to share their knowledge and experience. I have been a repeat customer for several years now and will be one for even longer.

Tea Market has always been my go-to for all things "tea". Recently, though, I purchased one of the best products ever - the Ultimate Tea-To-Go! It's an amazingly innovative vessel for creating a perfect cup of tea while away from home and offers at least 3 to 4 brewings on the same tea leaves. Its vacuum system for separating the tea leaves from the water after a proper brewing time is absolutely ingenious! Thank you, Stacie, for bringing such a novel invention to us! It's definitely a must have for all tea lovers!!!!!
