Stopped in for lunch and was not disappointed.The service was helpful and friendly, the food was prepared properly and tasted amazing! The Machete Burrito was so full of flavor and their chorizo was perfectly balanced. I'm new to the area and I think I found my favorite spot!

Incredibly friendly staff. Very clean restaurant. We arrived shortly before closing and they (from waitress to cook) were willing to seat us so we could enjoy a meal in this restaurant.Ordered the Shredded Chicken Nachos Rancheros, Shrimp Chimichanga, Cameron’s Al Mojo De Ajo, and the Guacamole Especial. All came out quick and were served very hot, obviously fresh from the kitchen.Shredded Chicken Nachos Rancheros - massive plate of great taste. Definitely worth the cost.Shrimp Chimichanga - impressive looking, very large portion size. Person who got the meal in my group didn’t get a chance to dig into it, she got distracted on the other components of the meal and got full on them; saved the chimichanga for a meal later.Camarones Al Mojo De Ajo - great presentation of a great plate of food. Shrimp were beautifully cooked.Guacamole Especial - guacamole done rightComplimentary chips were really good. Salsa appeared to be fresh, but needs more spiciness and it was a little runny. Asked for and got their spicy salsa, it had some heat and the addition of heat agents thickened the salsa sufficiently to make it more desirable.

We always have wonderful service and delicious foods here. The drinks are GREAT! And, even the kids love going here. The atmosphere is awesome as well, so bright and colorful on one side and very neat and casually dark on the other (barside).Parking: This is in a strip "mall" with other businesses, but plenty of parking for everyone - watch out for the occasional "driving too fast" for a lot kind of person though!Wheelchair accessibility: The lot is flat and lots of space. VERY easily accessible to all shop fronts!
Food was very subpar. One and done. Will not return. Not even sure how this place is still open.

My husband and I have visited a couple of times. Everyone was very friendly. Portions were a great size, and endless chips. I enjoyed the $5 margaritas. I also had the chiveche, it was really awesome! My new favorite. Our new neighborhood spot! Keep it up guys! We love your food!

Been here twice now and wasn’t impressed either time unfortunately. The salsa tastes more like marinara sauce and the rest of the food hasn’t been anything amazing either. Food does come out quickly, but the wait between when we sat down and were able to order was long even though there weren’t many others in the restaurant.

After my hillbilly boss told me that this place was terrible; I knew that I had to see for myself. He's the guy that thinks that 54th St. is gourmet and won't eat anything "foreign". Well, he's wrong again. I had a great little lunch here this afternoon, and it will go on my list for Tex-Mex repeats for the Northland. Tequila's opened in the space that formerly housed The Alamo. A northland institution that I visited often in the 70's and 80's, when Tex-Mex joints weren't a dime a dozen. The Alamo will not be remembered for its glory days, but for it's last 2 decades of decay before closing. Tequila's offers a glimpse back with the big bar and side dining area with booths and tables. They are also impeccably clean. The paint job is vibrant and even the men's bathroom was spotless and colorful. I really wanted to order the quesabirria pizza, but I didn't need such a large entree when dining alone, so I went with the steak fajita salad. Small in appearance but this edible bowl wasn't filled with 3 inches of lettuce like most places do to give a large appearance. Plenty of chopped steak, sauteed peppers, onions, zucchini and a few peas and drizzled in queso with a scoop of sour cream and guacamole made it a zesty offering. Complimentary chips and salsa were adequate. Service was efficient and courteous. May Tequila's reign at this worn out strip mall be the catalyst for a facelift for the entire property.
Just an all-around great Mexican restaurant with good food and good margaritas and Mexican beer. Service is always been great.
