The food was pretty great including the pizza, wings, and even the bruschetta (although no mozzarella?). The place is kind of a fun, hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, and the staff is a bit quirky but fast and polite. Overall would recommend especially if you're looking for something greasy and delicious.

Low key and family operated. Pizza by the slice is a great deal and their back patio is unique and framed by grapevines.

Was not that busy, but obviously understaffed as shown by the lone waitress who was not happy with the situation it appeared. Slow to get waited on, very slow for food preparation. Pizza and salad were nothing besides normal at tops. This was lunch hour on a Tuesday. I was told that this place was good, but not this trip. Menu prices are good for area, that moves it from a one start to a two star for this review.

Best New York style pizza around! Good prices and service. Try it out, you'll like it. They have calzones, garlic knots, all the good stuff.

While working in the crossroads I stopped in here about 6 or 7 times, and was very pleased with every one of them. The lady that works during the weekdays (who I assume might be the owner) is very friendly and on top of her game. Ive always received great service, cold drinks, and delicious food! Ill definitely stop back by sometime to visit!

Went on a company lunch with my employees hands down the worst service ever!!!!! I was told this is the best pizza in Kansas City from one of there employees. We never got a chance to find out. Everyone was rude we were told we should only order pizza or we would be there for a while. Do not eat here ever ever ever!!!!!! I paid for food I orderd that never came out. We went to Grinders better service better food.

Wanted to try a new pizza place and had the worse experience here. Order two slices of pizza and garlic knots. Got my garlic knots and they were really good. Waited an hour to get two slices of pizza. It wasnt really busy at all. As I was canceling my order (had a meeting to attend) the server was trying to tell me it was just in the oven and telling me how now we have to throw away the food..(not only this bad for your business but if a customer feels the right to cancel the order there word should be enought. No need to tell me and brag me) well not trying to be rude but two slices of pizza.. common. It's not like I ordered a whole pizza or two.

Decided to drop in after work. Owner was a really nice guy. Had a beer while waiting for a gyro. Obviously was interested in the pizza too, duh. I sampled a plain cheese, It was exquisite. New York style is the best. Highly recommend if you like authentic NY style, crust was exactly the way it should be! Drop in, I'd say!

I agree with Eric Deleon on the review. Good food but service??? I work and have a 30 minute lunch. Called in lunch for myself and coworkers and they said ready at 1130. I said let's go with 1215 and they said cam do that. 15 people in restaurant that I counted. 1224 and I am still standing here waiting. Person we were not expecting showed up for work and I asked about if we could add another sandwich or plate and she said not now. Asked me if I would like a drink and thought she was offering for the wait. Then was charged 2.25. Prices were 2.00 higher than what they showed online. Disappointed this time

My #1 Pizzeria in all of Kansas City. As a native New Yorker of 25 years it is super hard to find good pizza in the Midwest. If you have ever been to Kansas City it's the home of people who think putting honey on a dominoes like pizza from a place called Joe's is “great!”. DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM, go Here instead! The food is great and so close to pizza from back home that I no longer feel the need to run straight to a pizzeria the second I get off the plane when I visit NY.

Nothing outstanding. Seems like the mozzarella sticks came out of a box. White pizza wasn't really a "white pizza" but mostly ricotta instead of sauce. Calzone was pretty disappointing as well. Stromboli was decent because they use literal hunks of sausage links when you ask for sausage. For this place's popularity and price, it under performed.

A preferred spot for quality pizza. The staff was sociable and attentive. Prices were good for how much you get.
