Locally owned, involved in the community, excellent food, great prices, lovely atomosphere, kind staff, provides food for veterans on veterans day, has free books for children, this place needs to be supported and frequented... What a hidden gem!

I have been eating at the Borough regularly for a couple of years and have always enjoyed it. The food is tasty simple food. Most often I have the all day breakfast with either biscuits and gravy or a muffin. I’ve recently had the breakfast sandwiches and those are great as well. The people there are great as well. They take the time to get your food done right.

Recently I’ve seen a lot of negative reviews. As a regular customer here for over two years now, I’d like to add my own. The coffee always hits the spot and there are always a lot an options for flavors. The staff are always so welcoming and accommodating. I’d also like to call out some of these reviews that state: “the food is average” or “it was frozen before the cooks heated it up”. Well, this isn’t a five star Michelin restaurant. It’s a neighborhood food hall owned by a sweet elderly couple. Of course what food they provide isn’t going to fresh from a farm, but it’s good quality and tastes great. It’s edible. So the people complaining about that, go home and cook yourself, lol. Everything is fairly priced and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg for a full family to order like most places. People should be more open minded before they write a review bashing such a simple food place.

Cool old building, the food is good and I had an amazing latee. The girl told me that she makes all her syrups which is probably why it was so good. I will definitely be back.
Food was cheap but very underwhelming. Service didn’t really make up for it. Loved the vibe of the building though.

I go in here for lunch all the time. I get the Salad alot. Its fresh and has a good mix of different greens nuts and fruit and the chicken is grilled perfectly. That's actually hard to get. Red made me, on the spot, a simple syrup for my friends Birthday. The atmosphere is homey and has a lot of sunlight so its a great spot for lunch.

I've been to the Borough many times, as recently as this week, and have never had less than excellent food and service. Redd, the cashier, is excellent at her job as are the kitchen staff and the owner is also very welcoming, always with a smile for you. I recommend The Borough to everyone without reservation. EDIT: Forgot to mention, they make the best local hamburger I've had in a long time, and my bestie loves the sweet potato fries!

This is my favorite local spot to grab a bite. This is where I take friends. This is where the food is always yummy, the vibe is great, and they know how I like my sweet potato fries. From coffee and tea to icecream, breakfast to special dinners, there's something for everyone to love. Highly recommend.
