Be careful or you’ll miss it! But that’s the point right? We came in on a Thursday evening. It was nice & quiet. The vibe was awesome. The drinks were great. You have to do “the alchemist experience” where they make you a one of a kind cocktail. Both of ours were delicious!

We made reservations in advance and were escorted to our table at arrival. It is a bit difficult to find but that’s part of a Speakeasy! We called and were given directions that allowed us to find it.

It was a neat place. A little disappointed that I was promised theatrics, riddles, the whole immersive experience. That wasn’t the case, which was our reason for going. It was nice. But that is how it should be advertised. Lovely drinks and atmosphere. The dirty martini was a good choice.

Cool speakeasy-style bar. Reasonable prices, 1 block east of Anthony's. Entry door isn't easy to spot and no signage---hence the speakeasy-style. Great chill music

Shanky’s Gold is the best drink I’ve had. Alchemist Experience was so fun - great service and a must go if you are downtown!

Some friends and I went here for birthday drinks and it was really nice. We were greeted with a friendly smile, had great service and a nice atmosphere. This is a great place for drinks and conversations. However, be mindful that there is a time limit per group. If you go, be sure to make reservations!! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

The drinks were good but you can get the same quality drink at any other cocktail lounge in town for a lower price.

We were slightly late to our reservation by 8 mins but then were repeatedly reminded how much time we had left on our reservation before they kicked us out. Poor service:

Felt rushed, drinks were mid, and out 80 bucks now.

We got the Bar Call (if you like tye classic rum and Coke, it's phenomenal) and the Cherry Moon (OMG, SOOOO GOOD).

EDIT- Adding 2 stars onto my review. We came back this weekend and had a different server- I can’t remember his name but he had red hair- he was AMAZING! Thank you!!

Drinks were awesome! The atmosphere is great too! However, the server last night was TERRIBLE. She was so rude to all of us. We spent over $300 and she could have gotten an absolute amazing tip with it being the holidays but she was just straight up rude the entire time! If she wants to act like that, she should not work in the hospitality industry!

My wife and I had a great experience at The Brass Monkey Lounge. As others have mentioned, the little details here go a long way. All of our drinks were great (the Cherry Moon was a highlight for me; the Armor of Aphrodite was for my wife). We both opted to do the Alchemist Experience and loved that twist of an option, but I thought it was especially cool that if you love the unique glass it comes in, there is an option to purchase it at a reasonable price. Now, when we fix drinks at home and use the glass, we’ll remember the great date night we had here. We wrapped our night by using the postcard they gave us to write a note/toast to our friends. Hopefully, we can bring them here soon.
