Jeanne was the best. Recommended a great dinner very personal and fun to talk to at the bar 5 stars just passing through and loved.

“Amy” or whoever the bartender is, was incredibly slow and unprofessional. Our bartender was busy so we went to the bar to ask for a new drink and she said “I’m not your server, ask her” and wouldn’t give us a simple bottle beer. Terrible customer service if that is your bar tender. 2 stars ONLY because out actual bartender was nice

Stopped by for wings and an order of chili cheese tater tot’s. After a hour waiting, the wings were blond and had very little sauce -inedible. Never did get the tots, after the hour we opted out and just paid for our beer. Service was questionable. Won’t be visiting for a while!

Even on a busy night like New Year's eve, our waitress was attentive and remembered everything our table ordered.

Nachos and margaritas were good. We like the spinach &, artichoke dip, pretzel bites and Southwest egg rolls. They have Golden Tee - 2 machines! 2 pool tables. 1 pinball machine. Diverse tap beer selection, including Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat. Service has always been great! Sometimes they've had live music, usually around or on a holiday.

Parking: Strip mall parking lot. We usually don't have an issue.

Brew top will refuse entry to anyone over the age of 40 unless ID is provided, if you have gray or white hair… look out because if you forgot your ID you are not welcome

I've lived in Kansas City for 9 years. I've moved a few times but always pretty close to this location. Used to be one of my favorite places visit/ order takeout from.

In the last few years this place has gone really down hill. My wife and I used to come here almost every weekend and stopped in the last few years because the service has gotten so horrible. I understand its a pub, I'm not naiive and I understand its not the Capitol Grille, its just the amount of times we've sat for 30 mins+ waiting for someone to take our credit card to pay when the place isnt even busy got old.

Still, I like the Baja Chicken Salad so I still order it to go from time to time. It's my go to when I can't decide what I want for dinner. I did the same this evening, and it will be my last time ordering anything or visiting Brew Top.

This salad is supposed to have a chili sauce that comes with it. Anytime you order it to go they never give it. I actually bought a chili sauce from HyVee to keep in the fridge since I ordered this salad so often and the amount of times they don't provide it. It has literally become a running joke between me and my wife. Today once again, no chili sauce. I checked before I left, then I had to argue with the bartender to get it. When I got home I found it also did not have croutons and I found exactly 1 slice of avocado. They have also raised the price on this salad to $16. I get that inflation has made this necessary to raise prices, but it's just not worth it anymore for the crappy product.

Long time customer lost.
