I don't even like meatloaf, never loved it never hated it, but this sandwich will haunt your dreams, you will drive by downtown and immediately negotiate a reason to swing by and grab a meatloaf 🥪... regardless of your choice, it's a hidden gem, with amazing people. This really is a hole in the wall place but it is a great place. The food is great and so are the drinks. It is a very chill place. The owner is very nice and once helped my 4 year old at the time granddaughter out with a shirt issues.

It was on NYE and they had a taco special! I was in and out for a party I was sponsoring so it was quick but 10/10 would go there again! My a waitress was super chill (:

Come for the food, come back later for music and drinks. The Brick has been located in the heart of downtown KC for longer than many of its neighbors and offers great food at great prices. Today I got lucky and landed on a day on which they were serving breakfast. Veggie biscuits and gravy is a hard-to-find favorite and theirs does not disappoint! Best I've had, with veggie sausage and sauteed vegetables. A perfect portion, and you can't beat the process here. Also a good spot for lunch. Add this locally owned favorite to your short list.

Perfect spot to go for a burger and a beer. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive and kind, and we loved the atmosphere. Will definitely come again next time we’re in KC.
