We were traveling through from Minnesota to reclaim our Route 66 journey from the corner of Kansas the next day. One night in Kansas City, we circled in on this hyped hole-in-the wall. We were greeted by Halle, our server, and we had a couple beers and the famous meatloaf sandwich. There were just a few people in the place on a Tuesday night at about 8:00 p.m. at night. The building is fun and eclectic with a mixed crowd . We enjoyed it.
Food was frozen food obviously. The burgers were ok.

This was my go to place for lunch, but I refuse to go again after the server gave herself a 60% tip after I authorized a 20% tip. I noticed this upcharge on my bank statement. I did not approve of the upcharge and this is fraud.

Visited here before Chappel Roan concert. Such a cool vibe. Halle was the server and what Great Energy this young lady has. Service with a smile, welcoming, and really good food! When you visit tell them Jamie sent you and sign the wall. Also search for my message: Love ❤️ Light 💡 and Good Energy ✨Always! 😃 Jamie

Hands down my favorite affordable place to eat in the city. Shout out to Maddie (Maddy?) with the blue bangs, thanks for helping me and my bestfriend have a good birthday dinner! Taco Tuesday was a crazy deal, we’ll be coming back so many more times!

Very good food and fresh , friendly staff as well!
Meatloaf sandwich on the patio is the place to be, trust me on this... I don't even like meatloaf, never loved it never hated it, but this sandwich will haunt your dreams, you will drive by downtown and immediately negotiate a reason to swing by and grab a meatloaf 🥪... regardless of your choice, it's a hidden gem, with amazing people. Worth giving it a try 👏 💪🤟

Great local hole in the wall with great ambience… Happy Thursday 3-10 … fantastic… $7 hot dogs $4 local draft . yum !!
We weren’t sure what to expect as we walked in. The restaurant / bar is small and seating is cramped. There was an open mic night going on so the seating area was full. We sat at the only table available, a high top in back by the bathroom and kitchen. The place is a bit shabby yet quaint with a brick wall containing ing hand written messages on one side and lots of random prints and posters hung around. We ordered the Monday night special, meatloaf dinner with side salad and a slice of chocolate cake. All for $8.95. The meal can be best described as home cooking. The food was delicious and filling, a rare find and value in the downtown area. Oh, and the beer was priced right too! Overall a great experience. I’ll absolutely return when I’m n town again.
Dr pepper was good
This really is a hole in the wall place but it is a great place. The food is great and so are the drinks. It is a very chill place.
The owner is very nice and once helped my 4 year old at the time granddaughter out with a shirt issues.
Great atmosphere, staff and food prices. Food specials are $7!
